Author of the book, that this series is based on, actually did write the story based on League of Legends. Believe it was patch version from 2016. And the character Tong Yao was best at in that book was Leblanc. Lu Sicheng liked to play with Kalista. Chubby used Braum quite a bit, K liked Nidalee and Cat was quite good with Gnar. Although I do warn that the book is way different. And the characters are much more mature and likable in this series. I had some issues when reading it myself but tried to focus on the story and how well this series has developed the characters. They have more depth here.

As a reference, he ask Smiling to tell them her story in a teasing manner, i.e her relationship between God Yang, which didn't last as a result of e-sport, that was when smiling didn't really know much abt e-sport, she was just starting to get into it, ultimately, they broke up because yang was preoccupied with gaming and basically didn'thave time for Smiling. But as we know, Smiling has already developed feelings for Chessman, so she claims that she knows nothing and basically dedicates her life to e-sporting. Dodging the 'story time' completely and also making it clear to chessman that she herself is now committed to e-sport, making her a nice candidate for the "human he would fall in love with"😊

I really love their bond...like xiao rui, the manager really cares for her like remember when they were in the bus and tongyao went up to her and he immediately asked if she needed to go to the bathroom? And also how he cared for her when she wanted to battle against a tai again and he didn't want her to feel sad and then this isn't directly translated into English but in Chinese he always says, "our tongyao" and like it's part of the normality like he treats her like his daughter ( i mean he's too young to be his father but he'll be a great father) and like the rest of the crew treats her like their little sister but also gives her space and respect and doesn't pamper her...like I love that point lol loving this show so much!

Cheng Xiao's acting as Tong Yao was really good. Cheng Xiao is getting herself into a good character as a gamer.
