Same. My mom passed the week this was released. I’ve cried to this more times than I can count this summer. Her and I would listen to the original all the time when I was a teenager. Man I wish she was here to hear this version 🥺😔. It’s beautiful

The original makes you want to rock out so much that it's easy to not notice the lyrics. Ronnie's version highlights the true depressing nature of the lyrics. Both versions are incredible.

Ronnie truly is one of a kind and so awesome to be around when he has been dropping music or all these years

The papa roach version was exactly what we needed in the 2000s. Ronnie's versions is what we need today. I was worried at first then I saw jacoby giving his blessing and was like ok let's see and wow.

That visual just after he says "it all started when i lost my mother" is so beautifully done man i was a fulltime carerer for my mom at 13 i lost her to cancer at 15 and thats exactly how it was for me the whole world started to crumble and fall apart around me everything just fell to shit.....life was fucked from the jump surrpunded by a family of gangbangers being beat by my paps watching him beat my moms but i coped because me and my mom was a team she had me and i had her and we are all we needed

I'm so sorry :( That line gets me too. I lost mine 8 years ago and cared for her also but certainly not at 13. That's so rough.

You get the goose bumps and it captures you through the whole song. That's what his music does especially this one. When Galdiator came out that movie captured you and was so powerful it was the only other thing that hits on that level. Disturbed's Sound of Silence is there as well.

I'm almost 52 years old.after the 80s I've hated music.There were bands here and there that I really enjoyed.when Tom Mcdonald released fake woke (I hate rap) I started to enjoy music again.sure up till about 2 months ago 99 percent of what I listen to was his music.Then I broke down and gave FIR A CHANCE.almost instantly FIR became my all time favorite rock band.When he does songs like this it reminds me of Meat Loaf (by far the greatest vioce in rock) and Ronnie blows this guy out of the water and it's not even close.Wondering if this guy is related to mozart....Never dreamt I would find a band I like better then Van Halen,or the rolling stones.This guy has super powers!!!!

I'm 56. Started watching KZread reactions for Queen's stuff mostly. Randomly clicked on Watch the World Burn when it came out. INSTANT fan. Absolute favorite band. I just got to see him live this week. AMAZING. I felt alive for the first time in years!

I saw FIR with Papa Roach, Hollywood Undead, and Bad Wolves last summer. It was awesome! But, I wish they would have done this then and both of them done the song together. Amazing version of the original song and I get chills every time I hear it.

This is part 2 after watch the world burn..and I'm not sure, these are just my thoughts/opinions, but I believe this was either a reversal of what he did in the last song OR if now that he's wiped everything and everybody out, he is now starting the world back over again from scratch... And I say that because of the scene where he looked like a dictator /sith lord 😂 speaking to the big crowd which was also in watch the world burn as you already know. I just love trying to figure out every message or Easter egg in all of his songs. Lol... But anywho, again, its just my thoughts. Putting Ronnie's puzzles together are always fun, but there's always one piece missing... Lol.. Now we wait. 😂😂 Loved the reaction!

I think Ronnie gives the text the right, worthy framework. The Papa Roach version is too rocky for the seriousness of the lyrics. That's exactly what Ronnie conveys in this song, the pain and the fight with and against evil thoughts. Surely only people who have psychological problems and fight their demons every day can understand this. How often her mental world collapses and threatens to bury her. How many times do you think, “I can’t go on like this” and fight your way out, only to find again and again, “Nothing is okay.” But you keep fighting, every day. They fight with all their strength against being buried under their collapsing world. The sad thing is that too many people lose this battle, ultimately running out of strength and being buried under their collapsing world.

It was good. I give it an 8 But it's much better the original! When you hear "Last Resort" it's gonna be hard to associate it with the FIR version just 'cause the original version riff is unmistakable which marked a generation and a genre, my opinion..

Just got to the end of the video; meaux, sorry, but there are no reimagined renditions at FiR shows, they can't fly a baby grand around. But still, keep their shows on your bucket list. They're amazing live.

I like this cover, but, the rage and frustration is kind of stripped away and it doesn’t feel quite as passionate. I probably feel this way because when I was younger, I put on Papa Roach when I was confused about my emotions and just needed to regulate the anger and rage inside of me. Ronnie does a great job, this just isn’t it for me personally.
