I just LOVE how MUCC can do any style and work it. I can't stand listening to just one genre of music, so how can I expect a band like MUCC to have the same style every single time. I prefer their rockin style,m but hell, pretty much EVERYTHING they put out is solid, because they're such hard workers.

xdd, I still love them. No one's perfect I do wish they can return to their harder old school style. I miss Tatsurou's old vocals so much and their classic rock, blues, hard rock, alternative sounds. His past vocals were unique and had a sense of warmth and passion. His vocals now, are more trained but I still appreciate him for continuing to be an artist and im glad he is still with his band. I really hope that they would bring back their old alternative sound again!

@depechex Kyohsuke was the drummer for La Vie En Rose, not the vocalist. But he was the vocalist for GekiGakuTai. Also, MUCC have grown up since Zekuu and Kuchiki no Tou. They're in their 30s now, world traveled, and exposed to many more things than they were back then. They've evolved and broadened their horizons. I wish more bands were as brave as MUCC to try new things and follow their hearts. Nothing has been lost, but much has been gained.

lol at ya haters. how can you insult them like that? i loved this. good bands know how to grow over time. very few are capable, but MUCC is just that epic. so im sorry that you're just to blind to see. people need to open their eyes. looking forward to more MUCC, no matter what style they choose to rock :D

@obscured01 What made them very FAMOUS and RELEVANT for the music industry was their personal touch, and passion in their songs that were dark and really hard, THAT was their success, with a personal sound and BRILLIANT songs. Tat used to sing FEELING the STRONG lyrics that forced him to express sadness, loneliness, desperation and so on. Bands like DEG still keep their style, their fans are growing and growing and they didn't became bored because when you compose GREAT songs, you never get old.

@Kougasomoi Miya had another band apart of MUCC called Gekigakutai were he composed songs with members from Calimero and the vocalist from La vie en rose. They're very good friends as they record in the same studios (same happens with Cali=gari) and that "project band" had that powerful, deep and emotional sound. I'm not a "metal head" myself but i think is very easy to compare albums like Zekuu, Kuchiki no tou or Homura Uta with their latest releases like Kyuutai and see what is lost.

@cure4thecommon In Japan, to be an indie band is HARD, you have to do EVERYTHING for yourself, that's why they created Shu, their own label at the beginning. MUCC have a BIG support from Universal Music being MAJOR; not only with pvs and lives but also with commercials on tv. Universal push them to tour and release an album and 2 or 3 singles per year. Also Ken "helped" them to become more commercial. This is A LOT of money invested on them.

@cure4thecommon Kyo, as he's better known, was also the vocalist of LVR not only the drummer, but this is not important. Really remarcable is that not every change is always a good thing as they don't follow their hearts right now but the money. Since Ken from l'arc en ciel started to produce the band, they changed to become more popular losing that strength they had once, selling theirselves to the mainstream. You're right in one thing, they're old and got exposed, maybe their time has gone.
