    We did the same thing for my grandpa. One last ride before a 21 semi convoy escorted him two hours to the veterans cemetery all on the 21st of June with a 21 gun salute. I miss him every day😞. He was a truck driver for over 50 years.

    Its is the truth . But theres people that do know this and unlesd you have worked in the industry that waits and revolves around trucks pulling up with work to start either loading or unloading truckers do make and keep the world going round ...not evrybody is unaware of what role these guys play but those that are aware of this understand..sad to see this. But if its what this man loved doing and what he wanted bet hes smilling from the best seat ever

    My grandfather was a military man, after he passed away they took his ashes on his final flight. Seeing these people do this brings back memories. Much love to these people, and Mr. Mark Shuman.

    Been driving trucks for over 30 years never knew this man but it’s still brought tears to my eyes very emotional what a real nice tribute and nice to see some real truck drivers with some beautiful rigs! Not guys with tank tops and sandals!

    Although I don't know you or your family, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm in the final stages of brain cancer myself now. Maybe 2 more months left to live.     Gaylen, I don't know what to say. I hope that today you are having a good day, that your family is healthy and doing as best as they can, and I hope that your final days are full of joy. My dad built that truck simply to bring a smile to people's eyes. After he passed it became a tribute to him. I hope that seeing the truck brought a smile to your day, if only for just a second.

    I've been battling cancer 3yrs now even though I'm not a trucker my dad was when I was a little kid. I remember going on the long distance hauls with him, my big brother and I in the sleeper bed watching cartoons, my mom and dad in front singing to Kenny Rogers. It's clear your father was liked, loved and we'll respected! Heck maybe my dad and him are up there blasting the horns together. I'll keep your family in my prayers and I can only hope your heart is healing a little more each day that passes. God Bless!

    I'm retired UK trucker with 40yrs pounding the tarmac my health is bad now but the good memory's and good friends keepme going, respect to you guys,remember the average citizen has no idea of the job we do we sacrifice our relationships and family time for life of little reward but when trucking gets a hold on you it's yr life , old truckers don't die we just missed a gear , be safe guys

    I lost my dad in a car wreck. Six year old me was in the backseat calling out to his lifeless body. I knew he was gone, but talking to him calmed me down. A firefighter just took my hand when he freed me, and hugged me for a long time. My condolences go out to you. And this video was beautiful. I watched it many times. It hit me hard in a good way and in a painful way. May he rest in piece. Life is so precious. Thanks for sharing this video with all of us to see 😊😊 Love, prayers and condolences from Ontario Canada

    I go by one simple phrase in life that keeps me humble: If you got it, a trucker brought it. I’m happy I found this video and was able to watch an amazing send off for a fallen driver and I hope he finds peace, comfort and rest in paradise after suffering from such an unforgiving and cruel illness.

    I was just a guy who drove - road diesels - not trucks - We had a bad wreck - the driver asked for prayers - steer tire blew - and he had 20 or so seconds to get right with his soul. I missed his life and his message. He was a kind man - on a too short bridge and he bought the farm. Love is all we can describe in those short moments. Cheers to you! A Man who made a difference.

    This is the best of a sad situation. The loss of a loved one, but what a show of respect! Can’t say I never met him, to a trucker, all roads lead to somewhere! R.I.P.

    My brother drove for 30 years. Worked for a pretty big company passed away in his Cab 12 years ago. RIP. Brother and all drivers. Who rode the black top
