I was just thinking of all the ways Tom and Maddie could find out about what was happening in Green Hills in Sonic Movie 2, and this is one of my theories:
After the wedding, Tom and Maddie are about to go to bed when they see some disturbing news… they see their house completely destroyed and hear reports of “Two strange Animal-like Creatures” Fighting. Later on the news they see Sonic fighting a similar Creature, Sonic appears to be losing and is soon thrown against a wall leaving him hurt, and unconscious. Tom and Maddie just stare in shock trying to process what they just saw… and maybe tails shows up and wakes him idk
So yeah… that’s my theory! I would really like to hear about yours, comment your theories down below on what you think will happen in Sonic Movie 2, also comment what you want to see in the new movie as well

Because this is a theory for the beginning of the sonic movie, at the beginning of the movie sonic and knuckles aren’t friends yet… I think near the end is when they team up to fight Eggman

Knuckles is so badass. Not only did he beat up sonic and looked good doing it but he ALSO had the nerve to smash the camera.
