Way to go Erica! It’s nice to out fish the guys on the beach sometimes since us surf fishing women are a minority on the beach. It’s a good feeling to be catching when they are not and they are watching you to try and figure out what you’re doing that is different. 👍

the salad stinks but certain areas seemed to have less of it.

where did you get the pink/red soft bait from that you attached to the white bucktail?

The Tsunami Sandeel. Casts like a Cheese doodle but Catches fatties just like a Cheese doodle

I have caught more fish in big surf then I have ever caught on flat days. Those sand eels get turned up. Sunday was huge and we had 14 bass at field 6 in a 5 ft shore break. It was snotty and I could not believe how many fish were under those wave. Jig with teaser and every fish on the teaser. good vid bro. We got a little hits also so i threw a sabiki rig and pulled in a bunch of hickory shad. We started at smiths and worked our way all the way west stopping at fire island, tobay, and field 6. 6 was the most productive. Love seeing long island guys

Great video, what beach is this?

i was there 2 times, 2 days in a row actually, 1 bass first day and 5 on second day, didnt look at the tide at all, but red and green tsunami diamond work well, i had no luck on the bucktail. love the videos keep it up

These last few weeks have been amazing! Not uncommon to catch 10+ bass a tide. This fall run has been fun to say the least.

Caught one on the first cast curse. Lol Erica lit it up! Way to go girl! Teaching kids in Sunday school. Check another box of respect for you! Thanks guys

I have the best luck with mag darters when i start off with a few jerks to get it swimming low and then I sloowwww retrieve it. keeps it nice and close to the bottom and always produces for me!

Paulie Bro, once again thanks so much for these videos. I think you are out east of me, so you are my weekly fishing report. Thanks to you and Erika, I landed my first 3 bass of the year, using the baits you were using the very next day! Ran to the tackle shop and picked them up in the morning. hehe Keep up the great videos! P.S. I don't know, maybe it is just me, but it seems Erika seems to always catch fish. Mad props to her! Good thing you got TA clip correctly now. By no means I’m an expert and you definitely catch way more than I do but try hooking buck tail, jig etc on guide legs not on guide itself. Supposedly could damage guide and break the guide and/or nick it potentially cutting your line.

@@GetReelBassFishing you could put the clip thru the guide frame and clip it to the leader itself. i found it easier to do rather than clipping the clip to the guide frame

The penn reels all hold up really well as long as you don’t dunk them like I did. dunked my conflict 2 in montauk and it was toast. the spinfisher has been holding up great so far!

stripers are my dream fish to catch, but never caught one till this day. i caught a 38 inch fluke in the bay once, but thats as good as it got. i tried fishin in the atlantic past few weeks but nothing, always came home empty handed. im using a mixture of diamond jigs and bucktails like you suggested, but i think im reading the beach wrong. can you do an educational video on how to find good spots on the beach? i know the best place to cast is where a rip current is present, but i can't distinguish . . .
