Fall Pasture Poop Patrol

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Horse maintenance isn't just about taking care of the horses; it includes taking care of their pasture. All summer long the Soul Farm horses graze...and poop. This poop is great fertilizer, if it's spread and not left in clumps. That's why I need to drag the pasture, using my four-wheeler and a dragging implement. This fall chore is actually a lot of fun! At least for me...Sprout says it's just too much work.

Haha! Sprout really misses guests at Soul Farm. She sits and watches the road, and then runs toward the gate whenever a car drives by, wagging her tail. I think she got too many belly rubs!

Hi - love your ranch. I have a 1 acre pasture on a good slant, with some rocks about 4" in diameter or less. Do you think this would work with my dirt pasture and break up the hard spots, level it out filling in the small ditches that are made by the rain? I am a little worried about the rocks.

Sorry about the late reply. I don't think it'll work because of the rocks. You likely will ruin your drag. You may need something larger to do what you are thinking. This is pretty small potatoes!
