Thank you for taking I Me back in time. I remember when I was 17 (50 yrs ago)and making my own patterns from my clothes to make a new outfit that I saw at the store. Back then, material was cheap and it was way cheaper to make it than to buy it already made.

The rest of us love you and think you are unbelievably talented. The fringing on that jacket took it to a another level completely and the diamond pattern on the quilted bag made it a whole vibe. I really like you mother nature vibe head dress worn during the narrative. You did an excellent job on the coat and the tote really interesting results, and I totally love it. Every time you do this type of video, I think about the bolt of material that I had second thoughts on and when I went back to where it was located at the thrift store it was gone. As a seamstress I applaud your efforts!!🤎🤍🤍🤎 The bag and coat are gorgeous. As far as "not being an expert"... thru history people had to make their own clothes and didn't always have patterns or expertise but they nevertheless carried on and made it work for what they wanted to wear!!!!

That's absolutely adorable, you are very creative, especially for a beginner, I love it !!

Those two projects came out so well. You may want to get inexpensive patterns (sometimes they are half off at a fabric store). And there are budget patterns as well, usually on a round rack. Walmart sells patterns, but I don't know if you have those where you live. However, looking at your projects tells me you do just as well without them.

You did a fabulous job on both things!!! I'm impressed!
