I listened to this song a lot when I was 12-13 and I'm now 17 (turn 18 in october) and I just... wow.

I really cannot listen to this song without crying. Whenever I feel really, really low or just downright awful, I know I can play a Fall Out Boy song, and I feel better. In December of last year, I was going through an extremely rough time in my life, due to bullying, and some mental issues. When I was at my absolute lowest, this song actually saved my life. The vocals, lyrics, and every little detail of the song, helped me feel calmer and made me actually feel sort of normal. I was completely alone, had no one to call a friend, but I knew the band was there for me. I have several memories of myself crying at 2am, and just playing this song or several other songs, and just getting lost, almost an escape, from listening to the music. All of a sudden, when I put on my headphones, the bullies, anxiety, hallucinations, and everyone around me went away. I felt, for the first time in a long time, a bit of joy. On December 7th, I attended a concert, and they played this song. I cried, next to hundreds of other fans, my true best friend, and my father. With the help of music, my family, and several others, I got off of self harm, found friends, and got help for myself. My entire life, was completely saved by Fall Out Boy. I know, if the band didn't exist, I would not have, after November of 2017, ever waken up again. Thanks to the band, I am alive, and getting help. Thank you, Fall Out Boy, and several other bands, artists, and family for helping save me. If you are going through and hard times in your life, know that it's worth it. You should go when you are old, and have stories to tell of all the fun adventure you had, not when you are young and say "I wish I could have gone to that concert, I wish I could pet my dog.'" Try to wake up from that state. You know that the sun will come up, everyone will wake up, and no one would be happy without you. Take your pain, and turn it into something. Paint a picture, write a song, start a movement or program in your town or city to help others who are struggling with the same issues. It will help you, and everyone around you. It gets better. I feel that kind of ecstasy that courses through your veins you were talking about. I listen to this sometimes when I'm not doing okay, and I think Fall Out Boy saved me a lot of times from hurting myself because they showed me I wasn't alone in what I felt. Music has always been my outlet, it's in my blood to absorb this type of shit on a different level and hear, feel, see every part of the equation to it. This song saved me.

At The Disco fandom... This band (obviously a one membered band😂) really helped me...All his songs made me stop overthinking and made me calm... And Brendon Urie.. listening to all of his interviews made me love myself more amidst all of my terrible flaws... I haven't been to a concert yet coz I'm living in India and musicians rarely come here😣 And that's one of the reasons why I'm alive... To go to a P!ATD concert a few years later.... It boggles my mind that critics mostly talk about how popular FOB is, and completely ignore why that is: They are incredibly talented at creating music that stirs both body and soul, and this song perfectly encapsulates that. Every time I hear this tune, I find my head nodding along with the beat, but by the chorus, I'm staring out the window longingly like a Jane Austen heroine wondering if her love will ever come back to her. This song tastes like the summer of 2016, right before I entered high school. I came back here after a nostalgia trip and I can't believe this song doesn't have more appreciation. With the level of teenage heartthrob I have towards it I swear I used to hear it play in malls and stuff all the time, but maybe I'm wrong.. It was good to be back, though :)

This is just one of those songs that makes you feel better when you're sad. I mean every Fall Out Boy song is like that for me but this one especially. All their songs make you feel less alone and I think a lot of people really needed that this year. So thanks Fall Out Boy for all your amazing music and for showing people things can get better and that you're never truly alone.

Just discovered the rest of this album's tracks beside Irresistible, and im in love with all the rest. Truly their best album

***** Actually no I'm not. Been a fan since 2005 and yes in Sugar We're Going Down his vocals are pretty raw but they're not as controlled as they are in this song. It sounds like he is trying a new voice technique and I like it.

first heard this song in my freshman year of high school, now a senior. This song has helped me get through the hard times and the good times. Helped me through the tears, depression, stress. So much love to FOB for creating such an amazing song
