pete mouthing the lyrics.
it's honestly so hard to listen to this song without tearing up. such an underrated song.
I fucking love this song. It tends to be the non-singles that are the true gems of an album, Fall Out Boy is no exception
comparing this with now and knowing how far they’ve come in every regard… i may cry. saw this live, i feel so blessed
Greatest FOB song ever!

Nobody: Joe during sad songs : *headbangs*
God, Pete. You've always known how to write exactly how I feel. Seeing him sit on the stage and sing along with Patrick...I'm in tears.
Fall out boys most underrated song!!! Love love love love it.. So powerful!
0:35 DANCE MY CHILD DANCD

This song is pure heartbreak
Underrated tune. Would love to see this live now.
When Patrick started to sing he sounded so nervous and smol but for Pete's sake he fucking killed it at the end and I'm like "W OaH WhAt a voICe PaTrek"
I think this is one of the most beautiful songs of them
Pete threw me on the feels train
pete singing the lyrics is my aesthetic and it puts a huge smile on my face
Do this song live again... Dream.
I would die for a chance to hear this song live (also happy ten years IOH I love you)
The beginning sounds like that should be played at damn SeaWorld.

samsquanch1996 This. It’s supposed to sound like news intro music. But it leads into a damn good, emotional song.
0:15 I have never seen Pete look so happy:)
not Patrick's best vocal performance. that said, this song I incredibly hard to sing, especially the chorus. he picks it up by the bridge though and sounds petty hella

I think it’s more hard to sing in the middle of a set. I’m sure if this was the first song of the set he would have sung it a lot better
My favorite part is at the end of the second chorus, the last time Patrick says "Cut it LOOOSE."

Damn it Pete looks so fucking sad I'm going to start crying. I get why he's sad though. This song- damn Pete went through so much shit sometimes I just want to give him a hug. This song means so fucking much to me though it doesn't get enough love.
Still one of my fav of their songs to this day!!

This song makes me so relaxed idk why
Dude, Pete sitting on the edge of the stage at the beginning is awesome.
1:55 and onward is just an entire fuckn eargasm of patrick crushn those vocals man...that voice is unreal.

charmaine What is it? I watched them perform it in 2007 and Pete introduced the song by saying “this song is about how we live in a time where you can get famous by being naked on the internet and it’s called The After Life of the Party.”

one of my favorite vocals by patrick
Pete's energy at the begining tho
his freaking voice!
what a masterpiece
Excelent. Patrick sings with more emotions. Congrets
When I first heard the two songs Don't You Know Who I Think I Am? and The (After) Life of the Party I was dancing to the first one but then this one came on and it was so emotional. I just started crying for some reason
Literally imagine seeing this live I’d die
damn, this is amazing
great song
and im crying again
Oh the things I would do to see this live just once, I would do anything
Probably my favourite fob song! It is impossible to make a top 10 list (who can choose?) but this song is really at the top, probably with save rock and roll and disloyal order. Fall Out Boy, please bring this song or disloyal order back! Many people will be absolutely delighted to hear these sung live again, and i hope that this will be just as nostalgic for you guys :D Love from Singapore 😃
MAY 2020🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
i can’t get over pete sitting on his knees mouthing the words
My goal is to get married to this song
everyone saying that this wasn't patrick's best vocal moment tend to forget that this song is insanely hard to sing
