Commend on patrick! His guitar part is very essential to this song, and still managed to ace the vocals.

They don't use auto-tune... Most artist don't. You just don't know what auto-tune REALLY is. the only artist who use auto-tune are t-pain and lil wayne& kayne west used to.

Usually when they produce these kind of live recordings, they always turn the audience way down when they're mixing. So it might not be that the audience is quiet. I maybe wrong though.

He is talking about in the studio, for albums. live concerts cannot be edited lol.

I think he or she meant Pitch Correction. Same concept without the annoying after sound. It simply just adjusts the pitch of the note he sings to be dead on. Makes studio voices sound perfect without making it sound fake.

Auto-tune is a program, not an effect. Auto-tune lets you do pitch correction, which when taken to an extreme, can be used to make a t-pain effect.. But that only happens if you deliberately sing off pitch. its not easy to do. My point is, saying autotune is correct, unless they use another program like melodyne which does the same thing.
