Fall Lake Ontario Tributary Chinook Salmon fishing 2021

In this video, I am returning to one of the Great Lake of Ontario for some fishing. This video was filmed on the last week of September and most of the Chinook salmon are already plentiful in the river. Most of the Coho salmon seen in this video already lost their metallic-chrome colour but that doesn't mean they have lost their will to fight. I hope you enjoy this video. Thank you for watching!
Gears I use:
Rod: Rapala Concept Ti Float 11'6" 2-piece rod
Reel: Rapala Concept Centerpin 5" diameter reel
Line: Blood Run Mono 10lb Test in Clear Color
Float: Raven SM 3.7g
Tippet: Maxima Fluorocarbon 5 lb Test
Hook: Daiichi 1150 size 8

There are lots of places that are now closed for public fishing and this one is now off limit as of this year I am afraid.

For a centerpin reel with 5" diameter with Japanese ABEC 7 I believe this reel has the best value for the money. I got it on special with 30% discount. I am very happy with how easily it turns. The handle knub is nice and big and very easy to use. I really have no complaint. Are you thinking of buying one?

Yeah I am interested but at that price point with no discount, a kinetic kingpin is cheaper so there are other options. I like the new style with the shallow spool. The rod looks very nice but not sure if it has the power to turn salmon. They are pricey equipment being Rapala but they certainly look nice
