Fall in Destin, Florida || Seafood Festival, Fishing Rodeo, Surf Fishing
Fall is a great time to visit Destin, Florida. There are fun activities like the Destin Fishing Rodeo during the whole month of October and the Destin Seafood Festival serving up some of the best seafood the Gulf Coast has to offer. It’s also one of the most pleasant times to be here with cooler temperatures and spectacular beaches. Surf fishing in Destin also picks up with the fall pompano run that brings anglers out to catch one of the most delicious fish on the Emerald Coast.

Whenever we get cold fronts and wind comes out of the north on a receding tide it looks like that. It’s super nice to kayak in when it’s that flat.
Fall is my favorite time of year in Destin! We’ll be there next week. Absolutely cannot wait!
