We have both ,fan and chandelier! In the corner of room,I hung a crystal chandelier in front of a large mirror to reflect. Used a ceiling hook to hang it,ran the cord down behind drapes. Win win ! Your bedroom is very lovely.

Oh my goodness THAT is my dream bedroom! You did such a good job and the furniture pieces are amazing! I too love black and white. And I have absolutely had arguments over a ceiling fan versus a chandelier and I always give in because he is so hot natured but I would so love to have a chandelier in my bedroom and yours is so pretty.

Just found your channel. Love your beautiful bedroom. I am in the process of redoing our bedroom in black and white toile and ticking. Lol and yes the whole ceiling fan over bed vs light has/was an issue but I won out. No ceiling fan!! Looking forward to watching more of your videos!

Hi Jessie, I was really thrilled to see you so soon ...our cup runneth over!. What would we do without our Mums ? ...she surely found special bedside tables for you and Rob! I could see the yellow in them and understood painting them white when I saw your bedroom!. They had beautiful architecture if furniture can have that! and everywhere I looked there was something marvelous to see! Your bed looks regal enough for Josephine and Bonaparte eh? And I think you used small leaded doors to mimic shutters for the tiny windows...inspired! It may be a smaller room Jessie but you reproduced the feel of your old bedroom and used every inch to make one feel as if we're in a grand chateau in France Looking forward for more ma petite Abientot Susan in London Ontario

Such a shame the nightstands couldn’t be saved as is, it has beautiful details and my colors too (except as you said it was a little yellow). Love the detail over your doorways and the armoire is the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen 🤩 First time watching. Our bedroom and bath are of French decor theme. However, my spa bathtub is in the guest bath and my husband uses that bathroom. Therefore, it has a more spa decor instead of French that he has agreed to.

I forgot to mention where I found my bedding. The striped bedding I found on FB Marketplace. The toile comforter folded at the bottom of my bed my mom gave to me. It came with the matching sham too and she found them at a consignment store. Thank you!🤗

Hi Kammy, my black and cream striped bedding I found on FB Marketplace. The toile comforter and pillow sham that matches my curtains my mom gave to me. She got them from a nice consignment store. Thank you!😊

I bought a white fan with a small chandelier light attachment. Added some crystals and pearls to complete the look.

Hi Sandy, the people that we bought the house from left us some paint in the garage. But unfortunately it didn’t have a name on the paint bucket. It was a custom mixed paint color. We repainted the whole room with that paint so it would be clean and freshly painted. But if I had to guess on the color it is an off white color maybe an Antique White.😊
