Fall Bass Fishing: Trick To Target Offshore And Suspended Bass!

Спорт

Come along as we smash big bass offshore! We're targeting Spotted Bass and Largemouth suspending around offshore structure and the bite is wide open! Tim catches them on everything from a crankbait, to a dropshot, to a topwater on this wide open bite!
Suspended bass are the final frontier of bass fishing. Targeting these open water creatures is extremely difficult and until recently, required incredible work, timing, and a little luck. The advancements in forward facing sonar have opened the door further but it still requires finely honed skills to catch these fish consistently.
Below you'll find links to the exact baits and equipment Tim used to catch these fish. All the links go directly to Tackle Warehouse where you can see detailed photos and descriptions of each item.

I would like to see more of your electronics when describing what you're fishing. I know you've done so in the past, but would actually like to see more of your settings, how you use them to find spots, etc. You pulled up to a spot today and mentioned never fishing there. What mapping/electronics did you use (if not just gut or visual on your own) to pick this area?

Four garmin gpsmaps, new heading sensor, livescope on a seperate pole.. powered by dedicated lifepo4 battery. Livescope box powered by a seperate 20v lithium battery. All this on a sleeper boat. Stare at Sideview mark spots, turn around spotlock, livescope, cast right on top of em first cast everytime. Got bit on nearly every brush pile, ditch, and rockpile. Couldn't be happier with fall fishing right now.

Both are great rods. That 906 has been our standard for a very long time and it's an incredibly reliable crankbait rod. That said, we are always on the search so our information can be as accurate as possible. Both are great but we have a ton more time on the 906, there is a reason it's sold out most of the time.

@@FreedomFishing I love my Pats . I have 2. 0ne is an old school wooden they don't make anymore, and I have a 7.75 in just measured it composite crank down. The crank down dives to 5 ft probably and my wooden one is basically a tighter, better made Slammer X2. I've been pond hoping at night throwing the tactical 210 and a 7.5 in wooden 3 PCs pat's. The Pat's has been the ticket mainly because I've been fishing culverts and small inlets. The Tactical 210 is also an amazing bait, but it's bigger, louder, and heavier which for my situation lends it to windier, prefrontal, rainy conditions, or over deeper water. Pats perch is a New England Slayer. It's hard to get, tons of hype, and the Crank down in New England produces huge prespawn fish every year up here. You can go on my Facebook or my buddy Mike Salvidios Facebook and see plenty of Pats perch picks. He's got an 8.7oz in central MA and that's damn good considering were iced in from Dec till April.

Try that on the shore and give us some tips how to fish shore. We too poor to own a boat or kayak or even too poor to own a fish live scan. If I can work as a fishing KZread guy. I would help make videos for bank shore guys just like me. Not everyone can own a boat that cost the same as a Ford raptor. But I'm just putting my 2 cents out there. Great video but please make videos of bank shore fishing too.

No such thing as open water. Bass are always relating to structure/bottom changes, no matter the depth.
