We have a local woman who works with an aquatic rescue center, sells the creatures that didn't survive their issues even though they were getting help. I just gifted a lil octopus to a friend a few days ago

LOVE this so much! I've been looking for a channel that does gothic/darker home décor so I was thrilled. It's the first video of yours I've watched but I liked and subscribed right away and plan on watching the others. So many DIYs, and an awesome result. I really liked your point about the black on black getting lost; I would add that pure black can also be too stark a contrast and stand out among "natural" elements. So yeah, I always say I won't do pure black or pure white in decorating, and it's the first time I've heard someone else point that out who is doing a more gothic look. Dark cottage is my goal and I'm doing my rooms for fall now, so this was super helpful! Btw I loved the editing and music.

Watched this video twice, because the vibe and atmosphere is just everything, love the colour combinations, the end result and your video quality is amazing! (you have a new subscriber :D) I'm probably going to watch it more because it just catches what I want in Halloween decoration/decoration for the whole year round, I definitely got inspired! I do like getting things secondhand or through small shops while also crafting and thrift flipping a lot myself, and re-using items, but that it also looks decent. It's very close to how I want to decorate my room anyway (I'm darkly inclined with gothic elements), and I can't store a lot, so most of my decoration will be in my living space all year round. I want this fall/halloween to try to find a mix of a dark nautical, green academia, crowcore and woodland goth/cottagegore to cooperate most of my interests (I use aesthetics to kind try to get across what I'm going for, it's a bit like a witches cabin, this mix between cozy, collecting things from and being in nature during fall, while also having a dark and spooky element to it that's more gothic). Unfortunately I do not live in America, so I won't get the prints you got on Etsy (I just try to not get things that go all across the world because of carbon footprint and stuff like that), but I got into a rabbit hole of amazing stuff on Etsy, and I got already so much interesting stuff! I got things from stores called ANTIQVE, PetalsPrintsDesign, and SanctumInTheWoods, if anyone's interested for places to get spooky prints, they have a lot of dark academia, dark cottagecore, halloween and fall prints (and more), and you get it as a digital download, so it costs no transport and all that.
