Nice one!
I remember seeing these on one of the Falconry Facebook pages and found it immensely interesting and innovative. As someone who make all sorts of anklets and different designs based on the bird (had to figure out how to deal with water happy owls and twig-leg frogmouths) and so on, I was even more interested. This review has been very informative and different than written reviews. Thank you so very much. Definitely going to be testing these on some of our birds.

Thomas is a great Dude I always use his leather KS slip ons on my birds during the summer season. Winter in Canada is another ball game...

He was out in the rain too much maybe to get that ankle sore. My bird had one, I made anklets taller so they covered more of the shin and looser with more and longer slits cut in them. I was feeding egg with shell in the meat everyday and dried food stuck to the furniture a lot, had to stop hand feeding because the mess under his beak took forever to clean off. Had use a wet rag and get him to clean it himself by repeatedly trying to climb up on one fist while I held the jesses in the other.

He’s only been in the rain once here due to being mid winter ; but a good point. It has various causes but if sorted asap usually isn’t a problem although I do like f10 ointment incase
