FALCO played by Paul, Jon and Greg. JUST BRILLIANT. !!
Музыка
This was one of my high lights of the weekend. Just a brilliant tune. Performed on the Saturday evening concert at Halsway Manor hurdy gurdy and bagpipe weekend Feb 8th 2014. And well done to Edmund who kept up the rant step throughout.

One of the best examples of this form of music that I have ever heard!

Hi alt account
Shoutout to Edmund's impeccable rant step
Ich habe schon etwas gemeinsam mit den Herren - das Alter - ansonsten bräuchte ich noch ca. 400 Jahre um so zu spielen! Na denn, alles Gute den Spielleuten!!
Just brilliant! If I could have music playing everywhere I went, it would be that at least eight times a day.
Fantastic! Delighted to have found you!
Fabulous - this is the real sound of music, primitive and powerful. Anything else is just frippery.
Totally got chills at 1:46! Very well done boys!
Une performance incroyable. Le paradis sur terre ;-)
Amazing sound and powerful !
Je reviens régulièrement écouter cette version, les harmonies sont incroyables ! merci
The best I have ever heard
party hard: medieval edition.
Awesome
bless you lot
trop génial!!!
I would love to see a visit with these wonderful musicians again, as well as the rant step - perhaps in a larger space with a hollow floor to allow his footsteps to resound louder? Anyways, lovely as always!
This reminds of me of the early, great, great days of Blowzabella. A much finer performance than on CD. And of course no godawful bass guitar thing.
That last chord is epic

malinche. ésta música es mejor que la nuestra, si lo es.
Rock me Amadeus, r-r-rock me Amadeus. No? Ok. Not that Falco then. Sad face.
18 pouces F/Bb is such a good size for the Cornamuse- it is still brilliant but has also a agreeable weight to the sound.
du bon son de la vieille :) excellent...la prochaine avec un microphone dans les shoes du short kilt ^^ !

1:22 what's Jschlatt's long lost brother doing over on the left.
Une bourre a deux temps non? Sacrément bien jouée en tout cas
Is that a Morgoth rant?
Interesting tune...who wrote it?

Paul James of Blowzabella. The guy on the left.
What kind of bagpipes are these?

English border pipes I think - made by Jon Swayne. The guy in the middle.

So i take it English border pipes have different fingering than Scottish border pipes? Its not GHB fingering.

They are central french cornamuses 18 pouces with backward facing drones. A somewhat rare instrument. Most of these Cornemuses are in G one tone higher or in D a minor third lower.
Poor guy jumping
Great tune. What kind of pipes are those?

That would be my guess too. I love his D pipes. I think there used to be a long waiting list.
