Faker is the Goat of Goats at least in my mind. There are multiple goats in various positions throughout the years. Even mid has lots of goats. Chovy, Knight, Scout, and Xiaohu pretty much reach Goat status with their longevity. I just think Riot lucked out to have Faker as the face of Competive LoL.

It's also easier to showcase dominance in a 1v1 game rather than a team game since you can control every variable where as in a team game you rely on others to perform. There's also the leadership and synergy aspect that a 1v1 just straight out doesn't have

For me Worlds 2015 is One of My Favorite Memorable Moments of SKT T1 they are almost Unstoppable in this Tournament with only 1 Loss at Worlds just how good they are in this Year and this is the First I See Bang and Wolf their Potential as One of the Best Bottom Duos in LOL. ❤

Im pretty sure one day a documentary on Netflix is going to came out about him. Probably a statue of him will be build too. He is a true living legend

I can easily see both happening. He does however not have a very colorful personality, and without already having tons of backstage footage it might be a bit hard to pull off something that isnt already available on youtube.

For 10 years, appeared in 6 finals and winning 4 of them. if you think Faker is not the GOAT, I'm not sure what you're thinking.

This was such a great tribute to Faker's journey from his debut to now winning his 4th worlds cup. Well made video fitting for the GOAT of league of legends. Faker continues to inspire me and it will be a very sad day when he decides to retire.

Faker is the GOAT of eSports, not just League of Legends. We are so lucky to have him in our game.

I can't even imagine the respect his teammembers just have for this guy. Remember, they were essentially dead in the water without his presence this summer season. To then come back from that position to win it all is honestly movie worthy on it's own.

The undisputed GOAT of e-sports. 10 YEARS at the highest level of competitive league, 4 worlds wins, 2 times runner up and countless innovations and adaptive plays depending on metas and game direction changes. This has never been done before. To make it even more insane, it's 10 years in e-sports, which until now is unheard of. People decline so quickly and lose their prime so fast compared to other sports. I bow to the lol GOAT!

He probably won’t win worlds in NA but teams would pay insane amounts of money to have him. So if he’s just looking to make the most money possible at the end of his career it’s not a bad idea.

@@darkcircle899 If Faker wanted to ball out he would go to LPL not NA, LPL is giving out contracts NA players see in their dreams. Some LPL players were paid over 5m a year before the salary cap. JDG was rumored to be the most expensive team in League history. That being said he is already a multi-millionaire and part-owner of T1 so he is never leaving, no point, just ride it out in T1 and retire. He rejected a blank check from TL and 20 million USD+ offer from LPL. Joining NA would be the worst decision in his career.

See, this is what I love about Faker and his story the most: his role went from putting his team on his back to being a foundational force for his teammates. He went from hard carry to beautiful compliment. It's so lovely seeing him with a team that has synergy and will play their roles effectively. Peak optimization is what T1 has evolved into.

FAKER has cemented himself as such a league icon its hard to think of anyone similar in any esports scene cause lasting this long as a iconic figure is insanely rare due to the time and dedication it takes to stay competitive, most drop out for stream careers or cause they just straight up put that time in so the fact hes maintained it for this long is astounding, easily the most recognizable person in esports and thats coming from someone who does even really follow any scene but I still know who faker is.

They really deserved this win especially faker. Man he went through so much and never stopped the grind. So much heartbreak starting 2017 but remained strong. No one is ever going to match faker.

I only watched the 2023 part because I saw all of it before, but you summed it up perfectly, even fakers Injury and peoples doubt that T1 will come back. Very well made! I also liked the music sync a lot.

Even not everyone is T1's fan, or the be precise, Faker's fan, all of us have to agree that there's no other team can give us as much emotion as T1 when we're watching them

Watching this guy over the 10 years Ive also been playing has always pushed me to improve. And to this day I have been pushing to improve until I reach rank 1.

alot of the folks who came into league a bit later might not realize that the point about Riot changing the game to nerf faker isn't a meme or exaggeration at a certain point, Riot didn't like the dynamics of faker and his influence (in terms of 'mechanical god carrying games by himself'); he and uzi pretty much duo-caused a lot of the 'toxicity' in league by making 3/4 of the playerbase strive to be solo-carry uber-gods. lmao but as it turns out, that shit is thrilling to watch, and obviously Riot eventually reversed course, only for faker to evolve and become an excellent leader and senior to his teammates; the man just doesn't run out of new levels to rise to (great vid btw)

Insane video, you can see how hits style of play changes through the years but the level of excellence has stayed the same. He was a bit more flashier higher risk/reward type player but now hes more methodical, hes consistent and always comes up with the game changing play. Hes a true professional.
