(I dont know, this is just random spitballing), I would guess a combination of ddosing leading to more difficult practice conditions, potentially leading to scrims with the secondary team, and some other non-game related factors

Its not a problem with management or with coaches. Its a problem within the team that hasn't tiered the champ matchups and T1 isn't doing well with msi's lane changing. And Faker has a problem with his wrist and hand so it might be the reason Faker is doing poorly at Msi. I hope he get well to win a another day!!

T1 is not as overwhelmingly strong a team as you think. (Of course, there is no disagreement about the fact that they are a top-class team.) There have always been changes in ban pick direction and play style, and Faker has also always had ups and downs in skill. It's not a level to worry about yet.
