What's more impressive is Faker still at the top after more than a decade. Dude is just insane. Whoever said Faker is not the GOAT of league must be either stupid, trolling, or just straight haters. Because there is no single reason that Faker is not the best. That Ahri performance...dude, seriously. It's beyond top level. On the replay we can see the POV from G2, no one see it coming. completely agree that he's the goat, but IMO this wasn't the series that proved it. He had some pretty uncharacteristic misplays in the four previous games, and even in game 1, when he was WAAAAY far ahead, he had some REALLY bad plays. While making the clutch plays when the series is on the line is huge, I think faker has earned his GOAT status more from his freakish consistency, which wasn't on display today

@@sryanr2everyone has bad games. What else does he needs to do? Last year, he basically carried his team to worlds. He had one of his best performances even after his injury. He is still wining internationally after a decade. He has clutch moments that wins games. Faker is consistan, yes, but also he carries big time when needed and that not everyone can do.

​@@MasterPandaBearChannelbest case scenario you would have flash + E killed the Jinx and died afterwards. Worst case you have tried to do what Faker did here and completely failed. First of all, he found the exact spot to come from fog of war, to reduce reaction time of the enemy team. You can see even Caedral at first thought he flashed, cause how instant he appeared in enemy vision. Even with that, he still had to time the flash out extremely perfectly. If he flashed a split second earlier, he would not have killed because the Q return would not hit, and if he flashed any later, he would have gotten cc'd to death. He did all of that to single handedly kill the most fed member of the enemy team in the middle of them all and get out alive to win a 4x5 and turn around a game 5.

He is the god of clutch plays. Sure there r mids that has better mechanics and laning than faker now but fakers ability to come up with clutch plays on the spot especially while losing is almost unmatched

He dropped a control ward to deny vision from minions as well. It didn't quite matter nor did it actually have an affect, but having the headspace to think of that was crazy. 0:12

Mikyx is carrying this teamfight so hard, it's so sad that only Yike (who has to flash) is the only one who followed-up to Mikyx's 3 man knock up. BB could have also 3 man airborne, but he was just going back and forth at the backline, so his range can only reach Oner (which is surely dead anyways thanks to Yike). Miscommunication right there.

Look closely at faker at 1:15, im pretty sure he hits bb with a charm when he uses his slingshot, without that im sure bb would have hit them all with the ult and sealed the deal. That small play gave them the space they needed to play out that fight longer.

i think u only just watch highlights. only in game 2 and 3 faker is not be seen. but game 1 azir game 4 azir and game 5 ahri faker carried that game. we can’t deny faker on asol. he never played that champ after the rework.

He made some great highlight plays, but across the whole match, he was definitely not amazing. His Ahri in game 5 was good, and he did make the play that won the game by taking out Jinx in that fight, but besides that, he wasn't really winning the game for the team.

He didn't have cleanse up. The UI for pro play is just dogshit and when the summoner spell gets to between 5-20 seconds off CD it is basically impossible to tell if the summoner spell is available or not because of how the UI is. Riot needs to improve this but it has been this way since I first started playing League in 2018.
