Great faux cookie and easy too. Thanks! I'm still mad at myself for getting rid of my air dry clay when I decluttered b/4 I started watching your channel. I had that same tub of Crayola brand that you used here....I'm thinking a person could sprinkle on some coarse salt, it would look like sugar.

Do you have to put on mode podge after the cookie has harden or can you just put the frosting on and mod podge everything when it's all finished?

Can you add a bit of Mod Podge into the spackle? I wonder if it would help it stick better... Love your videos!!!

Before it dries you can place a eye hook at the top or you can hot glue a piece of string on the back of it!

Another sweet, ( pardon the pun), idea! I was wondering if you do all of these creations for yourself , family and friends or do you sell them at all? I would totally be a customer if you were to sell them, you are so talented! Bye for now, Sandy😊

Cletheline Emerich Here in Canada it’s called Great stuff ! Not sure what the name brand is in the US if that’s where you’re from ! But it’s a window and door insulation spray foam :)

Have you used other 'air dry' clays other than Crayola? I'm searching online and see that there are other brands, but sometimes it's worth sticking to a particular brand to get desired results. I found a 25 lb box (different brand than Crayola and it is air dry).

I have used one at our Canadian dollar store but I have started using model magic which is by Crayola but it’s nice to work with !It is also lightweight in comparison to the other air dry clay by Crayola!

After painting cookie the color white, do you let the paint dry before coating with the matte Modge Podge? Or do you add the matte Modge Podge while the paint is still wet? Sorry if this is a silly question, I’m new to crafting and trying to learn. 😬

Always let each coat of paint ,varnish and mod podge always dry between each coat for any project!I recommend sealing your cookie with varnish:)

simply J Spackle is crack filler !Your hardware store should have it and ask for lightweight!

Great video! I'm making throws for an easter parade because plastic beads are terrible and nobody keeps them. Have you ever sealed the clay with gesso or primer before you paint it? Is that a thing?

I love the ❤ sugar cookie easy peesy. I've been meaning to tell you Dawn--- I enjoy short videos/ tutorials ❤❤❤❤. Now when you're showing the craft you're working on --- you put it towards the camera for us, except that you move it away too fast😢 it leads to blurry ness. Sorry then you twist this way that way,I haven't been able to see much 😢😢❤❤❤. Thanks Dawn for another awesome awesome craft ❤❤❤❤

My paint won't adhere to my air dry clay or the polymer clay. I'm using acrylic paint.

J It should paint to your air dry clay ,I’ve used two different kinds with no issue!I’m not sure why it won’t adhere for you.Polymer clay comes in colours so it isn’t made to paint and I only paint air dry clay.Are you using Crayola air dry clay?
