UPDATE! this was traumatizing to him he absolutely thought I was gonna get rid of him. Damaging to the trust and safety he should feel at home. Hindsight is 2020 The ONLY way to get him to do things (without causing emotional damage and making me feel like a horrible parent) is to make more time for him to complete tasks help and direct each step if I need to. Take deep breaths and try to stay or get calm. If you are anything like me (single mom who gets overwhelmed easily) it will be annoying but you'll sleep better at night without the guilt and self doubt and he loves that I do this. Stay strong Parents ❤

Mine cried aswell, was in histerics, didn't find it funny one bit. In fact I felt really bad but at the same time knew it was for the best. Doesn't cause distrust between them and the police it teaches them that naughty people go jail and the police take them there. Which is true. Atleast they won't grow up abusing police like most kids these days, thinking they are untouchable.
