    Lol, there is absolutely a wrong way.....if ypu get pockets of air between ypur spackle, you WILL EVENTUALLY get mold. Ive had it happen on shakes ive kept it takes a while, a couple months even....especially if you make more balls of ice cream look to make it real, or you dont fill in the gaps, making ot look like bubbles, it Will absolutely mold. Unfortunately. I love the more ice cream float look, but i cant find way to do it without air getting in the spaces between your spackle....and ypu can get cracks like you said here, it sucks lol!

    @@Em22-wtf im so sorry that happened. There is no wrong way to do the technique and yes if the inside is not completely dry before closing the glass and working on the top you can get mold. With or without airpockets
