The show was named Lok Mela and the singer was Faiz Baloch from Balochistan. As happened in Pakistan always that with the arrival of army rule folk music was banned intentionally. For years people forget about their roots, culture, language, and music. Then after many many years comes the democracy with its love for the land and its natives. The said folk stage show was very famous because of people's presence and their love for folk music. The year was 1973-74
