You gotta check this out: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n65tw8eQe8mYiLw.html Maybe not the kind of music you like but you gotta admit... You need to give that Bjork album a listen. Except for piano on one song, there's no instruments; all vocals...the whole damn album. How come nobody remembers Peeping Tom? :::: kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6StzJiBZZO3crg.html Do they still play? This is the first song i sang after some vocal lessons. I sang this song in front of more then 300 people in a very special club in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) . @@HotStrange I actually found that out not long after I commented ironically. I dug into some research and came to that conclusion - it's very much interpreted as the Commodores being taken advantage of by the record label because of their race, even though I think Lionel Richie debunked the racial aspect but even so, it can absolutely be attributed to racial struggles. It wouldn't have fit Mike Patton to have sang it.

What a song this really gets me every time. So underrated.
I wish I was already grown up on early 90s so I can watch Mike as the younger him. Hot guy!
I have a very vivid memory of me watching MTV with my sister on a hot muggy afternoon, I think I was three or four and this was playing. It got to the part where he goes "EW!" and I remember doubling over in laughter. Later on when she had her driver's license and she'd pick me up from elementary school we'd listen to this as we drove around our tiny little Midwest town in her Oldsmobile Eighty Eight with beads on the seats, the crown air freshener, a pair of baby blue Doc Martens in the back seat and a picture of Iggy Pop with his hand down his pants in the back window that pissed my mom off. I wanted to be as cool as her back then...
This is while smoking up on a Sunday morning hits so right, love his voice

crying is often af sign that you aren't happy with your life and need to change some things. Crying over lost opportonities or lack of love or meaning or simply bitter about where you are in life. Get some perspective to feel happier with what you have instead of wishing for better things or drink ayahuasca and see the meaning of life. It all helps :)

I think the Lionel Richie version is much better. Just my opinion. I thought the Chillis cover of "higher ground" was an improvement on the original so I am certainly not against 90s music

always find myself coming back to this song
I have to admit that Sunday mornings have never been easy to me, but when I listen to this, I seem to breeze out through the hardships.
FNM has alway been there for me when I've needed them most..."...Everybody wants me to be what they want me to be, I'm not Happy when I try to fake it..." ALWAYS sending good vibes your way!!!
Quem está ouvindo essa música maravilhosa em 2020?!❤

What a song...so much feeling. One of the best ever❤
I remember hearing this on MTV back in the early 90s, thought that was a great rendition of the classic Commodores song.
Mike Patton is my favorite singer of all time
