Been a strings fan since I watched them on MCC in 89/90. Loved 30 , what a way to go for the last album. Constantly listening to phir milenge

Faisal kapadia, I know him for a long long long time. When we both were in a small school in Block Q, N Nazimabad, karachi. Our teacher would tease him by calling him "khoja". Then I transferred to St Judes (N Nazimabad). Surprisingly he also transferred to St Judes but a few yrs later after me. And then we used to go to school in the same van (Javed Bhai's van). Later he became very famous and definitely Pakistan's pride. I remember him as a very friendly and respectful kid even at that age. Such nice memories. Faisal do you remember Uzma Noor? I think your family was living as their tenants.

Completely echo with Rabia's comments, Strings was always so loved and especially the way you both conducted yourself with so much grace and respect.. I remember being at your concert in california where there was no fan/cooling in the venue and you guys kept turning the fans to the audience... something so sweet and it was one of the best concerts i've been to..

A much awaited interview

I once visited Faisal's home behind boat basin in Clifton with a mutual friend. If I remember right, whole floor of the tower was his home in one private entry. His bedroom had couple of keyboards and Opera masks on the wall. this is around 1985-86. I still remember vividly I had to take a leak and use his bathroom which had its own television!! I was blown away and in awe for years. Maybe this was all from my imagination, but I think I have been to Faisal's home. I could be losing my mind at 53.

This is fan moment I know we won't be able to meet Faisal ever but I felt being there during this interview. He and Bilal are legends and I have grown up listening to them. God bless.
