Skazka Canyon is also known as “Fairytale Canyon, located on Southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. It’s famous for its red clay rocks which resembles castles, towers, monsters, giants, people and animals. Some travelers may think that they are on Mars as they visit this mountain.
Aksay Canyons is another interesting and unique place to visit in Kyrgyzstan, located southern shore of Issyk-Kul near the village of the same name Ak-Say. Locals call it "Valley of Forgotten Rivers", made up of multiple dried up streams that used to be filled up with water many years ago.
