Fairycore is a fantasy-themed aesthetic that centres predominantly around fairy (alternatively spelled faerie) and elf mythology. Visuals include nature, soft pastels, butterflies, magic, flowers, soft animals like bunnies, and the vibe of springtime.
Any and all fey-like creatures from mythology around the world are included. This ranges as far and wide as Celtic, Scottish, Nordic, German, French, Native American, Japanese, Chinese, etc. It includes the typical Fae and fairies (usually from Scottish Seelie and Unseelie) as well as various kinds of mermaids, elves, nymphs, shapeshifters.
It is most similar to Cottagecore, Pixiecore, and Goblincore. The term was coined by an unknown Tumblr user. Fairycore focuses on the beauty of nature, such as flowers, fairies, dresses.

I fully approve of the C.S. Lewis quote and I would like to wish all of my fellow citizens of Elfland a pleasant weekend. Some say that dragons are only slain in fairy and life is not a fairy tale, but I believe I shall grab my sword and disprove this. Thank you, Halidon, for providing our disenchanted society with some much-needed enchantment and wonder. As Chesterton puts it, "The world will never lack for wonders, only for a lack of wonder."

I absolutely hate Litvinovsky - horrible, stressful noise (I can't even call it music!) that almost makes me feel sick!! In fact I had never even heard of him until I started listening to this channel! On a different note - pun intended - thank you for the Furtwängler video, that was wonderful 🙏🙏🙏
