It's ironic that Laxus, the one who knocked out that new guy in the beginning, had the same motivation as that guy. Because he wanted to make the Guild the strongest under his control and considered it weak, I like this moment.

I wish they change, a little bit, about the characters outlook like Natsu’s acnalogia style hair. That design did not last for long, and he looks OP and mature in it.

100-Year Quest will be the second of Mashimas' work I'll be able to keep up with, the other being Eden's Zero. I never got to watch Rave Master or OG Fairy Tail when they originally aired Im so excited

I really enjoyed watching Laxus beat up an incarnation of the old Laxus. I also really love the new opening (top 5 Fairy Tail OP for me) and the new ending (best Fairy Tail ending for me).

It's just straight continuation. You're going to get more characters development, more relationships, more references from different arcs. The pacing is going to be faster because they adapting 3-4 chapters per episode. All this long they only adapting 2 chapters per episode. It's going to be fast pacing actions.
