Beautiful area! I wanted to live in a place like that, but war old, so I chose the next best thing. I live in the middle of a small town, with mostly lawns, but a few days after I moved here I asked city hall for permission to turn my yard into a wildlife habitat. 17 years later, it's a farm in the middle of town, with lots of trees, fruits and small criatures. I am 75, now renovating my house and separate cottage/art studio. Great ideas for my cottage!

I love your videos! I owned an interior design business and no one listened to what makes a home. They want trendy things. Not me. I love your style. It’s from your heart and probably the best memories growing up and traditions. Just priceless. I usually get 4 months of snow. This year we had one! So sad. It’s been melted since January. We have already had 80 degree weather.

In primele secunde când am vizionat un alt video si văzând numele mi- am zis ca trebuie sa fii din Polonia sau o țară germanica si apoi am vazut tara de provenienta si tot nu- mi vine sa cred. The hills are just behind the house, but it's not an isolated house. If it would be very isolated, it would be dangerous, as I have friends who had an isolated cabin that was damaged/broken a few times while they were away, traveling. They eventually had to sell the place and buy a house in a remote village, with neighbours around. Hope you will enjoy the videos on this channel! Wish you and your family all the best!

I had seen only half the video earlier. . By then, kitchen duties awaited me, and I thought it was best to finish my chores. and make sure that none of my family members would interrupt me , in the time which I had made expressly for myself, for the pleasure of watching you do up your home with so much love. Bit by painstaking bit, it proudly came up. ...., the windows treated to a kind of distressed effect kind of paint work, charming iron braces(for want of an appropriate word) forming corner frames for each window, wrought iron supports for shelves , curtain rods from which billowed delicate curtains., your pretty collection of antique copper and pewter pots and pans hung from hand made hooks ( you even. have an anvil. Did you apprentice under an iron smith??!) ...how much effort has gone into the many precious details that transformed an empty shell to a very welcoming home. Out came the beautiful blue and white plates, a pretty cutting board, plants on the window sill, the blaze from the wood burning stove spreading warmth and cheer. Johanna ,you have done a splendid job. I truly enjoyed watching your video and for sure I will share it with my friends. Thank you for the immense happiness it gave me. Before I sign off ,has the sweet kitty moved in with you. I hope so. Much love to you for this delightful vlog. ..

Ваши видио пробудили во мне желание Жить и творить🎉 творить мою жизнь, моими руками: Вау! Вы мне созвучны ☘️ я такая же, но почему-то забыла. Phyllis, i have a side space next to our cottage and I am getting ready to put potted Hosta, hens and chicks, lavender and phlox. You have given me such inspiration to be creative in the placing of them and using what I already have to plant them in, such as the hens an chicks. I am so happy to have found your channel which I am saving. The soft music, scenery and all you do is soothing to my soul. I Will watch you every week.

Johanna even looks like a real fairy - she has such lovely elfin features. This video reminds me of the story about elves coming in the middle of the night to make magnificent shoes out of humble materials - this started out a really homely fixer-upper but by god was it worth it.

When I first started watching this I was like,oh no not another fake renovation with a small beautiful woman doing everything on her own! However I continued to watch and I don’t know if it was the music or the fact that you actually knew what you were doing and I loved it all. Beautiful.
