The Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club reflects the 1950’s colonial architectural design with a luxury country club feel and magnificent views of Mt Kenya. Nestled in the lush foothills of Mount Kenya, Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club is strategically located on the Equator. The hotel has been closed for renovations for more than two years and they have now reopened. The rooms, suites and cottages reflect the original charm of the residence but completely new and modern amenities. This video documents the new look of Fairmount Mount Kenya Safari Club.

This has always been a bucket list destination of mine. Having my retirement home built right now, still a year from completion, as soon as it’s done, this will be my first stop, with some scuba diving in Mozambique and the Maldives. Literally aching to plan my grand adventure.

Starting price of the deluxe room is ksh13000 per person sharing on half board

Considering the magic this place once held, this looks even worse now than when I last visited. Tragic.

@@mytimelinekenya That's a shame. The place was gonna go under when Holden & a couple of wealthy friends bought it & had a vision & made that vision come true. (Not to mention what a magnificent actor he was).
Is sauna, massage,.... inclusive in 13k package.
