Beautiful aeroplane!

Jonathan great videos. I flew out of new garden from 1980 to 2010, now living on a residential air park in North Carolina and I still have my 1978 warrior.. I miss new garden it was a great place to fly out of and hang out with my friends.

Beautiful 24. I do have to say I could have done without the music. Those selections seem more appropriate for Katana or Cirrus video than an elegant Fairchild. Sentimental Journey, Moonlight Serenade, or most anything other than that techno-sound bass heavy stuff. Otherwise well done!

What a great way to see your plane flying. It would also be a great way to advertise a plane if you were selling it. Planes and Drones together the way it should be safely flying and enjoying both hobbies. Love it.

Hey John, nice aircraft. This is Marty. You might not remember me but I used to hang out with Rick back in the 90's. As soon as I saw the green tower I instantly recognized N57.

I prefer the first silver to be brushed on, no sanding before the 2nd coat which is sprayed and lightly sanded, and a third cross coat. Using nitrate dope on ceconite 102. then finishing with Stits paint. My 140 wings have lasted 44 years still punching green. I agree, kill the music...PERIOD !

I'd love to come try to chase a bit with my FPV setup...tinywhoop but it'd be some cool footage...I'll prob see you thurs. w/balloon tether!

Do you burn 100 LL iin the Fairchild ranger engines? Do you have any sticking valve problems with any type of fuel? What's the realistic major overhaul interval on them?

LOL I have a L-2-B and looking at a F-24 that has been in storage for 40 years. Would you have a AMT-12 Or AMR- 12 Radio that I could copy ?

Great video! I would recommend putting the drone into “sport” mode when he is taking off, so the drone flies faster and can keep up with the plane.

Nice video... I've developed an interest in these planes! How much room is there in the cockpit? I'm 6'3" and that's been an issue with lots of older planes, but it seems like these are a bit roomier.

Hey Doug. I absolutely LOVE LOVE flying the Fairchild. It is such an incredible aircraft and does everything in style. I am 5'11 and have plenty of room. If you are ever near N57 stop by and try it on for size.

@@JonathanMartinPilot Thanks for the offer! I'm extremely on the other side of the country, and got a pretty discouraging insurance quote on a 24R46 anyway... but maybe someday I'll take you up on that!

Jonathan, Do you have the Ranger 6 200? what prop are you using?
