Fairbanks, Alaska. circa 1918 Leonhard Seppala and his 16 championship Siberians.

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Seppala and other mushers display their dogs and their skills for the camera in Fairbanks, Alaska circa 1917.
Keep in mind that the only way Seppala could have his Nome based team in Fairbanks was to mush them the 800 miles between.
Help us honor the Centennial of our Seppala breed by partnering with us to mush a team back to Nome in 2025. We look forward to hearing from you.

Its claimed, by the people we bought her from, that my wifes husky, Flaming Arrow Kaleesy, AKA Coomuk is from the Sepala line. Ya, we call her Coomuk.... You can see her on Nat Geo's Life Below Zero , as she camps with us on the Kiwallik river, near Candle AK, the turn around point for the All Alaska Sweepstakes, Nome, Candle, Nome.
