Since sprays no longer contain CFCs, hairdressers aren't exactly among the biggest polluters.
Nevertheless, the Fair Hairdressers want to transform all the cut hair into resources to save the planet: make hair recycling. Not in wigs, but in socks to fight against oil spills. One kilo of hair can absorb up to 8 kilos of oil!
A natural filter that can be reused. All hairdressers have to do is pay a fee and fill the collection bag. 5000 French hairdressers are already participating.
