Michelle Obama reminds me of Princess Diana. Wonderful gift to the world. Loving mother, caring humanitarian, very intelligent, and all around awesome roll model. I love her "know yourself" and follow your own path. I also love how she encouraged the American public to grow their own food in their front yards, and she doing the same at the White House. I hope she will be the 46th president (although I doubt she would want the job :) Just remember no one can force their thoughts into your head. Take control of your life, mind and emotions. Look for what you want, and not at what you don't. ♡

One of the best videos I have watched recently. Especially Michelle's points are very nice and most practical. I am impressed by the points like - "BE AUTHENTIC, WORK HARD, EARN SUCCESS AND MOST PARTICULARLY DON'T BE AFRAID TO FAIL". Many people are afraid to do anything due to their fear of FAILING. Once they overcome that fear, they can for sure win the fight. very good thing.

My fave is the last one "Our first job as women [and men] is to get to know ourselves" It matches what Gary Vee says about self awareness. In North America the education system and media is organized in such a way that most of us are prevented from getting to know our true selves and it takes years to begin to look into who we truly are, for those who have a chance to do so. It would make the world of difference if more people not only knew who there were but also content ad happy not fitting in. I think that's what it means. Everyone's different and that's a beautiful thing. Cheers :)

The Best advice my Mother ever shared with me is to live your truth, enrich, evolve, love, care, love one another, most importantly, everthing is temporary! Not being afraid to fail hit home. Even when I thought I failed, I actually succeeded by not giving up. I kept going and I kept fighting and it's been rewarding. I love Michelle.

My future success will largely be due to the inspiration of my virtual mentor, our First African First Lady, Michelle Obama. My favorite rule is "be authentic" and this is also the premise of my first book, L.O.V.E. Ladies Operating Very Effectively, Finding the Power to Change Your World. In due season, I will meet and partner with Michelle. And I said it first here.

"Never view your challenges as a disadvantage... your experience is actually one of your biggest advantages... life will put many obstacles in your path that are far worse than a bad grade. but unlike so many others you have already developed the resilience and maturity to pick yourself up and keep moving forward...." This is so true. My brother is handicapped, he has LGS, a severe form of epilepsy. And getting through the tough shit does prepare you for your life. Even though I'm "white" or "priveleged" (though I'm middle-class, with all the medical bills, when my dad lost his job, when we lost our house, etc. we barely had money; I've gone to the grocery store as a teen and paid for food with quarters, dimes, nickels... shit happens) I can completely relate to what she says. She's so eloquent and so right. You keep going, no matter what your struggles are. Get up and keep going.

I disliked her and her husband so much in spite my not knowing them personally. It wasn't until 5 years ago when I had the opportunity to attend a function she spoke at, and that was my genesis of not just respecting her but also learning so much from her and making something tangible out of of my life instead of being torn down by hate. Because of her, I can now proudly say I not only have an undergraduate degree but also a graduate degree. Michelle you are an inspiration.

You've never heard one thing bad thing about the Obama's. u cant judge a book by its cover either. She and her husband are God sent so it's unfair to say you dislike them.

5. Choose your own path. This is probably the dividing line most people find difficult to cross without fear or doubts, especially woman. BUT i find this rule personally most rewarding in the long run. There can only be one ME or YOU, everyone else will always be a reference or example PERIOD.

I love her so much! So sad her term is over...Excited to see what she's going to do next... Maybe first Woman President???

The most that impact me would be #1 and #3 moving forward and working hard. This year I have started something new in my careers choices and step outside the box. Knowing everyone would out me down and losing my family I know it's will come around when everything settle down." Keep your head up high".
