UPDATE 2: NOW WORKING. Also note: x.com/ELDENRING/status/1803669123156619427 UPDATE 1: someone on reddit mentioned that "Servers in maintenance for the next 2 1/2 hours" so we just need to hang on a bit (7-10 UTC) The update to the game is patch 1.013, seems not related directly to the DLC that I"ve just preloaded.But there is an issue with online play. I think they might rebooted the servers after the patch it might take a bit until it will be fixed, thoughts?

Me also have this problem , I think all the servers and people have the same problem , we just need to wait for fromsoftware to fix this problem

I just updated the comment, there is a maintenance until 10:00 am UTC time from what I've read on reddit by users. So soon it will be back online.

Yeh, offline is possible

it lets me play elden ring on my xbox which i didnt install the patch but it wont let me play on my ps5 where i did install the patch so im guessing its the patch

Just give it time update rolling your way

Hover over the game, scroll all the way down to the Add-Ons, select the DLC, click the countdown time, select auto download add on, let it install and then try again. Basically the DLC will download the day of release but you can have it download early and playable on release.

Just tried today after over week of not playing. Fig id give it few days after launch to play again

It not even letting me update the game, I deleted the game and got it back and it still doesn’t let me update

Did you restart the playstation and launch the game right after (you should see the update message) Try several times, it worked for me the second time.

Might be that they deployed the patch also on the servers (therefore to downtime) and in some regions it might not updated yet for some servers.

I bought the dlc but I don't think they would have made it 'a must' to be able to get the patch. Try restarting again and load the game and see if you get the patch to load.

I thought was just me. I try making New Zealand account play dlc early. Thought caused my connection issue
