Hi mga kabayan! First of all!Bilib ako sa mga pinoy nurses na nagsisigasig sa pag hahanap buhay sa abroad. I can relate sa usapang ito kasi first of all, coming from the Philippines to Saudi mainit na lugar and now dito sa Europe, anlamig , angloomy especialy during winter season! It’s a big adjustment! The struggle is real. Pero sa inyo jan sa Finland on top of weather and culture adjustment, yung language. Omg. I don’t know how you guys do it but I’m really impressed. Hei! Yes totoo po sinabi ni sir., pg nag cocompare aq ng mga Filipino nurses at nung mga nkaka trabaho q dito, sobrang layo tlga. As in, pero hndi nman lahat, meron din mga magagaling pero iba tlga. Ganun din about doctors, so far satisfied aq sa naging doctor q dito, ma galing yung nag handle sakin, pero baswd on my experience lng din. Sa 1.4 yrs q dito Finland, nka kuha na aq ng mga gig work khit bliktad2x pa din yung mga finnish language q, bsta lakas lng tlga ng loob. Ganyan ang mga pinoy. 😅 More power po Ms. Julie. 😊😊😊

Hindi ata pwede ang full pledge nurse ang mga foriegners sa Finland madam. At liers pala ang recruiters from the Philippines. Dito lang ata sa Benguet/Baguio lang ang recrutement agency ng mga practical nurse/caregivers. At maraming mga kababayan ko (Cordillera) na nag cross country after many years. Walang nag pepermanent.

May kadarating lang po na batch dito galing cla middle east....clinic dental nurses lang cla sa middle east...pero apprenticeship for nurse yung placement nila...

Yes they can, after a while. Of course. Not straight from e.g. Pilipinas, but after meeting all the requirements, of to work you go. As fully pledged nurse. Easy for Pinoys, their education is readily great.

Meron kaming KELA card pero may requirements bago sila magCover ng cost and hnd lahat kinocover ng KELA

I will be leaving Finland soon. Sobrang depressing ng klima, given mataas ang sahod pero ang tax malaki din mag overtime ka sa tax din lahat mapunta. Language barier din nakaka sabay naman sa usapan pero minsan nakaka pagod na yung hahanapin ng utak mo saan kapa pupulot ng Finnish words.Anyway tatagan nyo lang loob nyo sa mga nagpa plano pumunta dito ako kasi set na I will go back to Middle East. And totoo mas magaling tayong Pinoy Nurses kesa sa mga lokal dito pero yung iba kung maka asta akala mo eh gagaling IC precaution nga di na apply LOL

@@Lynn12037I will go back to ME soon actually mas makaka tipid ka sa middle east given na free ang bahay at free din ang ticket pauwi at pabalik. Dito depende sa city ang rent ng house mo and ikaw din bibili ng ticket mo if you want to have your vacation. Pag ang sahod mo sa ME like 70-80k pesos huwag na pumunta dito pero if ang after mo ay citizenship punta ka dito no doubt naman maganda healthcare dito.

hays, wala talagang opportunity ang tourism or information technology sa finland? 🥺

There is nothing free in Finland. You are paying the public education through high tax. 35 - 43.1% income tax.

Not that high tax rate for average worker (e.g. 25-50k yearly income). Mine is 23%, ~50k yearly income. Full "work trip deductions". (Some of the expences on commuting/ driving for work is deductable).

Yes of course. Nothing is free in this world unless you are homeless beggar. The good thing on this countries is at least you can see where your tax “goes” and you can take advantage of it.

@user-js5sh7rb8v If I save that tax, i will be able to invest that money for my health care and get better health insurance of my choice and not provided by the government. Finland can afford to subsidized it's low population rate for now. But if in future, it may not be just like the rest of high population developed countries.

Both have pros and cons.. depende sau kng gsto mo ng mas independent sa work... mas demanding ang kotihoito when it comes to finnish convo.. depende

Sa naranasan ko sa pinas,hindi naman lahat pero may mga doctor na pabaya din.Pera pera nlng iniisip. Kulang sa assessment hanggang mamatay na ung patient nila. At ung ICUnurse nga hindi nman inaasikaso ung patient 🤦 Tapos sasabihan pang demanding ung bantay. 🤦
