To the point of mainstream music pushing their brand of "music" the published 5 more versions of Nicki Minaj's song and another of Meg Thee Stallion's song on ITunes as soon as this song hit #1 on the charts. The streams and downloads are all using the same identifying number as the original so every stream/download on all versions will count towards the number viewed by Billboard as *one* song. These are the tactics they use to keep independent artists from charting #1 in sales.

@@toodlescae YT becomes highly censorious when you start quoting facts to support a claim/theory. You might get away with the initial comment but the more you converse and attempt to argue your point in detail suddenly comments disappear or get shadow banned. Used to be you could quote paragraphs from news articles/studies or provide links...for the most part those days are long gone.

I'm 60years old been listening to Tom for 2 year's. I have noticed he actually reads his comments and he responds. He speaks thing's that I really can't say. I live in Yorkshire, and I loved your balanced reasoning. Personally I think this particular rap is a bit of a troll situation. Ben actually asked to do this, because he had a bit of back and forwards with niki menarge. She's since come out and congratulated them both. They did make it to number 1. Tom has consistently sold more singles and albums and should have been number 1 a dozen times. He's totally independent and him and Nova are a power couple. They do everything, sending out albums. From their home. She's a singer too and I think she should start doing a lot more. Her videos can be so funny. Just love the dynamics. Like i said in the uk,can we ever say certain things. No,because we would be arrested. Sorry it's long. I've subscribed to your channel because of this review. Looking forward to seeing other thing's. Kindest regards ❤🎉

Great reaction again bro 🔥🔥 Now I'm a 54 year old man and I didn't follow him hop and rap that much until Tom because he spoke a message I could relate to which is missing from mainstream music who for me personally I believe are selling a false narrative and unachievable goals to people and glorifying drugs, guns, drinking and sexualize women but people look up to them has told models but there far from that and the music industry is corrupting the youth of today which Tom is pointing out in th is song Has for the rest of what I feel is happening in society I think we are losing sight of reality everything is ideologies now not based on facts and that's not just LGBTQ+ it's across the board we are told this what we should be doing this is way we should be acting but the cold stone truth is too many people are going along with this and closing their mind of to the fact they maybe not be told both sides of the story and it causes division and I also think that such apps has TikTok are to blame because they are watching someone in a minute or so clip giving out false information because it's only their point of view very few of their comments are based on facts and they don't tell the other side of the story either so it makes people believe something that isn't accurate and sorry but the art of conservation is practically dead no one really talks to each other anymore because social media is all they seem to be interested in so they are too busy looking at their phones rather sitting down and having an intelligent conversation because that's the only we can resolve issues we may not agree but at least we can say we tried but we can also respect them if their prepared to listen to both sides of the coin but I don't see that happening anytime soon if I'm honest and that's sad this is how I feel I know some people will not agree and that's ok I respect other people's opinion even if I don't agree with them but I'm willing to hear them out and one other thing don't hate on people because they do choose to have a different opinion to yourself there's already enough hate in this world that we need to eradicate without making hateful comments That's the end of my novel lol 😂 #Hangovergangforever

The extremes in thought, experience, intelligence are black and white, while in reality most of us have beliefs in the grey zone. I love what this song actually did. I am coming at this as a fan of Tom. So many people hate him on his “political/controversial” songs but if people LISTEN, he tells everyone you don’t have to agree, it’s an important conversation. In the day it was a rapper’s JOB to push these social issues into your face so it starts the conversation. He doesn’t tell you what to agree with. He’s in the middle, like so many of us that just want to find the common sense/common ground and Tom is great at pointing it out. 90% of Tom’s music has NOTHING to do with that, it’s his life experience that relates to so many of us. Anyone who took this at so offensive that they can’t stand Tom or think he’s pandering or his music is to make people upset have never listened to anything else he’s done. I’ve talked to him and Nova a few times now, I found them at my lowest point in life and them and the hangover gang rallied around me. When you don’t have a lot of people in your life for medical issues, like me, these people wrapped their arms around me and held me up when I couldn’t do it on my own. These are good people and I think that him and Nova do a great job of showing you can have differing opinions and still get along fine. He calls out the politicians and what they are doing to people, and wants people to look at for themselves. Anyway, that’s my two cents on it and I agree with your take it on as well 💯. ❤

It's a beautiful thing to see someone mature from living in a tiny echo chamber bubble to broadening their wisdom and understanding and being able to start taking accountability for themselves and accepting influence from others. Massive applause to you for coming so far and fantastic reaction/break down of this song. I subscribed to you for your acapella group reactions but was pleasantly surprised by this and your Rich Men North of Richmond reactions. I find music to be the absolute best exploratory medium of human experience and emotion. It truly is the universal language in that it transcends barriers and can speak to everyone about everything.

Fantastic comment. I totally agree. Music is definitely a universal language. As James Taylor once said, 'music is physics. A note is twice the frequency of the octave below it, and thusly there is something impirically true about it. This gives us a kind of relief from the isolation of life' I'm paraphrasing of course, and that is only part of the monologue but it was one of the most beautiful descriptions of music I'd ever heard. I think I actually posted it on my instagram. Thank you for your kind words too. I appreciate that

Well I'm overjoyed to have you here. It's tough isn't it. When you don't subscribe to either side of the false dichotomy people often accuse you of being on the fence or being wet or a people pleaser. But in oder to be on the fence I'd have to still be within the spectrum of the system they subscribe to and I'm not. There is no one I would currently vote for because the system, that reaches far beyond the buildings where our politicians sit, needs a colonic irrigation.

I couldn't stomach listening to the song again, so I do apologize for only listening to your intro, but I've really come to like and respect what you have to say through you Ren reactions mostly, and a few others, so I'll just speak on the intro...I agree whole heartedly with your sentiment on listening to your perceived enemies, or heck, just listening more. I probably got about 10-15yrs on ya, I'm approaching retirement age and old fart status, but I'm fighting it pretty hard..lol, one of the most profound things that happened in my life, and changed my outlook and path, for the better, also rocked me to my very core, and sent me to some dark places for a while, that story is for another day though. But on my journey out of those dark places I had nothing but time on my hands (wasn't locked up, but I mine as well have been) and was desperate to keep my mind busy, so I embarked on a series of deep dives on every single belief and ideology I had ever held, which led me to more questioning of everything, I even took online classes about journalistic integrity, researching, and propaganda and conspiracy debunking, I was absolutely obsessed at finding a clear cut way through all the BS and straight to the truth on matters of the world around me. Well I didn't find it, but what I did find, was like the old saying, the more you know, the more you realize how little you really know...lol. But it humbled me, and I think there is wisdom in that humility, it did though alter some of my ideologies, and solidified others, but one of the greatest skills I learned brings me back to our point, and that was.... Even though I didn't find any magic tricks to finding the truth about an issue or story, I found that increasing the amount of places I looked/researched, and the types of places I looked, as in sources I normally wouldn't be caught dead associating with or reading otherwise, polar opposite of my views, were the two biggest factors for getting as close to the truth, or the clearest picture of the issue that I could hope for, and definitely enough to make an informed opinion on the subject. Most importantly though, it humanized those with starkly different views than mine, I might still staunchly disagree with them, but I at least saw how they came to hold such views, and most often they reached those views, from a place of good, and a sense of what they thought was right. So instead of seeing certain people as ignorant or evil monsters filled with hate, I started seeing many of them simply as humans, misguided from my point of view, but still humans. And since then have made several good friendships with people who 5yrs ago, I probably wouldn't have given them the time of day if ya paid me. So all that was to say, I agree with you to a point, and while I'm pretty far left leaning, I realize our side has lots of issues too, but I also get frustrated with the narrative, at least here in the U.S., "well the extremes on both sides are bad, people just need to come together". First off the U.S. has no political left, but more importantly, I think two things can be true at once, that both sides have issues, but that one side is easily more toxic and full of rage and hate than the other. I honestly didn't watch long enough to see what you had to say about the song, because music is objective for the most part, I know there's music I like that others think is complete garbage, I don't even care that most of my favorite reactors did this track, what upsets me is how many of them just gushed over it and praised not just how good the song was, when objective or not, it's mediocre at best, but that none of them called out the fact, that there are few "facts" in a track with that same name. Or that they don't call out the obvious transphobia, and hatred, or the fact that Ben has a very lucrative career from being a divisive trans/gay-phobe racist far right talking head. Not even that I expect them to call it out, but to just glaze over it, like he's just a normal friendly celebrity who has a cooking show or something. I guess that's the other reason why I didn't want to watch any more of the video, and why I don't view this reaction much at all with other reactors I like. I mean Tom's whole gimmick has been right wing dog whistle type rhetoric from the start, but in the last year or so, it's become downright hate filled, far right, promoting literal violence, type rhetoric in every song. I mean look at this song, "I don't care about your feelings" I mean how you supposed to meet someone halfway and have a civil conversation with someone like that, and Tom has a pretty big platform and a lot of young minds hanging on every word he regurgitates, that is why I get frustrated by Tom and others like him. Anyway, there's my two cents, I probably owe ya much more for the therapy session..lol, take care! ✌️💚

I loved your perspective on listening to people. I look at the world much the same way you do. Listen to everyone, but evaluate what they say to see if it holds value. I have tried to have conversations with plenty of people online, but almost always end up with being called "racist", "homophobic" (actually all the -phobic possibilities), and so on. All because they disagree with my point of view. I love to talk with people I disagree with because 3 things can happen, 1) I become more convinced that I'm right, 2) I modify my belief/opinion, 3) I change my mind. Those afraid I might be right immediately start throwing personal attacks. It's getting disheartening because that seems to be the go to these days. Anyway, liked your reaction overall.

12:23 right, people will say that they are just saying the truth while omitting many of the inconvenient facts and sometimes just stating some silly opinion, without even having any truth. And they’re doing it just to be obnoxious and tear people down, on the other extreme. Some people shouting isms, other people, shouting snowflakes, but they’re both shouting. The words and impact may be different, but the behavior is the same. It’s a lot easier to just tune out of your own life and your own problems and reality in general and get mad at something else that seems far away. I think that’s why people are so preoccupied with things like presidential elections when really, they have such little impact most of the time, and everybody already has their minds made up. Just foaming at the mouth for things to distract them from all the problems and shortcomings they have procrastinated with and deny, but are real. At the end of the day, you can’t often logic someone out of a place that they didn’t logic into. You would hope that in light of new evidence, the new evidence could change what people believe, despite their pre-suppositions of an idea. But that’s such a hard thing for most people. The very act of taking accountability, or changing your mind on something, is admitting that a previous version of you was essentially dumb or naïve to some extent because otherwise, you wouldn’t have been wrong. People sink cost into things and ideas and continue to sync cost having sunk that cost as the fallacy goes, because they’re so deep in already. It could be any kind of idea that they have about the world. It could be a physical thing, or a person that they’ve sunk the cost into. And they’re just not willing to see it any other way because they would rather feel right then do right. It’s OK to be a hypocrite, when you are consistently, killing part of yourself, that you are critical against. Our dumb ideas need to die so that the good ones can win and we can progress . That’s true of us at an individual level, and it’s true of us as a small community level, and it’s true of us at a national level. The best people for the job need to get the job. The best ideas need to win out. Because anything short of that is a disaster. It’s bizarre watching all of these teenagers and even adults and sometimes especially adults behaving so much more immature than my six-year-old kid who might pushback a little, but is willing to admit fairly quickly when they did something wrong and they know it without question. I feel bad for the people out there who have just spent their lives finding inventive ways to tell themselves that everybody else is the problem and it’s not their fault at any level.

First off, appreciate your point of view. I resonate a lot with it. 8:23 right. It’s a multi party problem, right? Like who’s at fault for making crappy video games ultimately, the developers who know they are going to make cash off of a predatory game where the people who keep on buying the games? In my opinion, it’s both of those parties. People consuming the thing and people supply the thing create this problem together That the culture and whatnot is so dominated by these ideas is a reflection on our culture and it is what it is. Very unfortunate. With that said, just the funniness and the rejection of those things in this particular song is also what it is. And so you have good, strong, valuable behavior, and it’s just kind of up to you to gravitate towards it, and choose it for yourself if you want to have positive outcomes.

Not sure what you are talking about re your post being misread; but I question why you are asking a bunch of complete strangers for advice as you seemed to imply? As I grew up, I was taught to listen to people I respect and talk to them for advice, not a bunch of strangers. May as well ask people in the supermarket que if they think you have made the correct choice, or where to move forward from where you are. Strangers have their own agendas in mind, not yours (I am trying to be genuine here, but I too am a stranger...) I like his courage in going against the grain and trying to bring some common sense back into music. Throughout history there have been people who stood up for what they believe. Some have been a catalyst for societal change by causing others to reassess their priorities and values. Also by encouraging discussion. I wonder if that is what we are seeing here? I think his music will last the test of time, but only time will tell. Edited to add: The original interview Ben Shapiro did with Tom is an interesting listen. It showcases the source of the collaboration.

well, the Conservative party is pretty left wing. Every social program is a left wing endeavour. Being pro-NHS, the biggest social program ever enacted on this planet, makes you left wing irrelevant of every other thing you may do. The rest of your nonsense was.....nonsense. Brexit is a 68%-by-constituency landslide of an idea. It's the most popular idea voted on since 1605. If you think 68% of the country is far right, the Bell curve would mean that 99.99% are right wing. And if that was true we wouldn't have an NHS now would we. Also, every single person supporting LGBT is ANTI-LGB. If you are anti LGB you can very swiftly and correctly be described as homophobic. If you are a BLM supporter you are a RACIST. Tell me, have you come across any LGBT or BLM messaging anywhere in the last 5 years? Were those places all "far right" ? No, they were all mainstream left-leaning institutions like both main parties, the BBC, the Police, all schools and universities. Every major HR department in the country..... smh.
