I got my Pom when he was 8 weeks old. He's 8 1/2 now and the best decision I've ever made. He's my loving companion and a true friend

My Pom Lilly and I were together for 15yrs. She closed her eyes for the last time on November 14th of this year. What a beautiful soul she was. I'm having a very hard time not having her here. I will miss her for an eternity. 😢

this came out on my birthday, I'm honored.

Pomeranians are intelligent and strong willed, I’ve had them for the last 25 years. They are wonderful little dogs and I love them, but they’re not necessarily an easy dog for a first time owner as they are stubborn and full of attitude😁♥️

My Pom brings so much joy to my family’s life. He is wickedly smart! If you spend the time to train them, they can be your best friend!

@@cindym__ he was a stray, actually. I got very lucky.. poor boy was wondering around at 4 months. No one claimed him and he became mine.

Had lot of poms, unfortunately all passed away mostly in my hand, now I don't keep since my old buddies memories still on.but sweet memories of them.❤️

Also, smaller dogs like the Pom, the Yorkie, and some others are more likely to develop gallbladder abscess/ischemia/blockages, especially in middle age. This is life threatening and requires expensive surgery, and the prognosis is not always great. Our little Pom had the surgery at five years old and did very well, but the vet was very cautious about letting us know the prognosis was dependent on how healthy she was otherwise and how bad the damage was from the gallbladder issue. Otherwise, I say GET ALL THE POMS! They are incredibly bright, sweet, happy dogs with huge personalities. They’re my absolute favorites.

My Pom was a nightmare as a puppy, she chewed on my furniture, even though she had numerous toys. As an adult she is the best dog ever. So obedient, sweet, loving, and so observant, she easily follows directions. I am the luckiest dog owner on planet earth, to have this soon to be 13 year old bundle of joy. She is healthy and I hope she lives for 20 years or more. Bella is the best companion animal on planet earth. Everyone remarks about how well behaved and smart she is.

All this is good to know since I get my puppy in 8 weeks he was born yesterday cant wait

I got my Pomeranian! He is soooo cute and cuddly and smart as u said! It took him a few hours to learn where to pee and knows what the word “sit” means and he sits when I say that... super cute.

My Pom is 4 years old, he’s my 3rd Pom. I love him so much.

This gives credence to the fact that my larger, registered Pom is, in fact, a pure bred. Dog people give me such grief about her not being miniature in size, calling her a, not-too--flattering "throwback". Good to know her origins weren't actually miniature at all.

Throwbacks aren't tolerated at all in Europe, so be glad the dog is still considered a pomeranian over there

I have been researching this breed for years and looking forward to having my own pom baby 😍 some time within 6 to 8 months. It's not "cheap" to purchase either, (I have been saving). I calculated that I'll need upwards of $3000. And I believe it's worth every penny. My traveling companion for the rest of our lives. Thank you. For sharing this video. 😌

Got mine for $300 and he is 7 pounds. He looks like like fox. Had him since he was a tiny puppy. Now I have a female pomeranian that is 6 pound and got her for $500. She is small and look a lot more like a bear. I only believe that the price is base on the blood line. If you're gonna spend $3k hopefully it's a show or a champion blood line.

Check the Pomeranian rescue. I just checked it yesterday & you can find them for a few hundred.

@1979 No I haven't yet And it's been a year. But I'm not rushing into anything. I'm going to continue to take my time. Don't really want to purchase one impulsively. I have been scammed out of $800.00 for a $1200 pup once, from a "breeder" online. I guess I should be grateful. I could be out of $1200. When I found out it was a scammer, I was devastated. I knew something was up when my emails stopped being returned. These imposters had stolen a true breeder's website information. Had an entire back story. And posted puppies on their page from other breeder's websites. Lesson well learned. Now I'm a lot more cautious. I refuse to be taken advantage of again. Pomeranians are not just descended from spitz dogs, they are the smallest breed of the German spitz-breeds. You have Grosspitz, Mittelspitz, Kleinspitz and Pomeranian. In large part of the world ( FCI) they are considered as a Spitz breed. At dog show they are compiting in FCI Group 5: Spitz and Primitive types.

Great video! Their glorious fur is both a pro and con. Pro of course being that they are beautiful, but an incredible job to maintain and costly to take to a groomer.

I want to say so like when he sees other dogs he really just like plays with them a lot and a lot and I’m so happy that he liked place of other dogs as well even if you’re bigger or smaller he is just amazing by fours and everybody has their own kind of dog that it’s amazing for them but if you like that cuteness and if you have other dogs definitely maybe think about it because I really enjoy playing with him and I’m really attached with him while he’s attach more to my dad

My stepfather has owned three Poms. His beloved Pom, Lacy passed away three weeks ago and he has already contacted a Pom breeder in our state. He can't wait to bring home a new Pom puppy in April.

I got my first pomorinian puppy when he was 1 months old his my first puppy i didn't know how to take care of it, my puppy got aggressive, loud and biting people he was spoiled. It's my fault not teaching him manners And now his 8 months old his a good boy now And he has manners now!

No, it was an outdoor table, this Pom was being trained to go potty on a large terrace rather than inside the home. Indeed, you can see the wind moving the Pom's fur.

Ours knows when the mail lady comes,will bark like crazy when she comes.Our mail lady has met her and says she doesn't scare her.She has a spot by the front window which she likes to look through.This includes when UPS and Fedex delivery people come as well.Gets called cute as well.One family friend,has a grand daughter that loves ours and has said she is soft,fluffy and cute not to shave her.Goes up to her right and pets her

In the video, the Pom was living in an apartment and she was trained to go poop in the outdoor terrace. So she was rewarded for that as before she would poop indoors. You can see the wind as she's outside.

Not during a hurricane! My regret for not teaching my Pom to go in the house. Cant retrain her so its an issue.

They snore, they pee 3 to 4 times a day and very needy. Eventually they'll take over your life.

I had a family of 3!!! Sadly they've all passed of natural causes. One thing that they have in common with other poms is anxiety issues!!!!

today after 2 months of waiting, we receive a news that my Pom lost her pregnance. I feel guilty, regret, too hurt for my dog. too sad 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

My pomeranian fur child..will not let any big dog near me 😂 so I have to pet her everything my step brother bigger dog was near me or she would stair it to death

Better if pomerian hv high value, so the one who pet them is from rich fam + by put out money = big chance the owner will care his/ her pomerian.
