As a female, it is really sad how much men's feeling are disregarded. People act like seeing a man cry is as rare as a unicorn, and it kinda is. Not because men don't/shouldn't have feelings, but because they DO have feelings but are taught that it's bad to have emotions. It's horrible that people genuinely say these phrases to men for not pretending to be a stone: "Just man up". "Oh, you have crippling depression? Just go to the gym😂!". "Ugh, men are such creeps at the gym, staring at girls doing squats.." Just because someone isn't a woman doesn't mean they can't cry/show emotion besides anger and happiness. If you had any idea what the average boy went through in a day of high school you’d want to never experience it again. I’m talking from experience about some of my past friends problems; constantly being ignored, constant pressure to not mess up, 80% chance of being rudely denied whenever we approach a girl, depression at a level that most people wouldn’t even realize, pressure to preform well in front of peers, rejecting a woman might be one of the most dangerous things you could do. There’s a reason that more men kill themselves then women, it’s not about who’s life is harder, it’s about how we act against eachother and what it causes us to think. ❤️
