365 days I crewed on sailboats from San Diego, USA all the way down to Panama, stopping in Mexico and Costa Rica. After Panama crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand stopping at islands like the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji
45 days I traveled through New Zealand from the Northernmost point to the Southernmost point, then
100 days I traveled by motorbike through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, then
365 days I traveled in my self-built campervan from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, then
365 days I traveled with this van through Iran and Pakistan, then
180 days I built an off-grid log cabin in the woods in Spain, then
180 days I restored an old sailboat in Guatemala, then
180 days I traveled with this sailboat from Guatemala to Honduras, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and the Dominican Republic

I think it is looking very nice! I think it will be lovely to see the light coming into the cabin through the bottles, also the other way around!. Do you plan to also put some bottles in between the logs in the main walls? It may look nice too! All the best!

dank jullie! betaalbaar gezien is er maar 2 keuzes. witte platen met isolatie erin of rode golvende platen waar isolatie aan vast zit. dan kom je op 15 euro per vierkante meter. had het graag goedkoper opgelost maar dit is op dit moment het beste dat ik kan vinden. dak duurt nog even. eerst de muren haha

Super nice ~ a few tips for you: 1) Use blue painters tape to cover the things you want to stay clean of the mortar/cement. 2) Save some cement and some of every kind of bottle for repairs later as the glass gets broken ~ it will happen. 3) Pre-plan how the repairs will be done and pre-cut the bottles very short (just enough to chip out the old bottles and re-mortar the new ones in place) and do it now while you have everything set up ~ it will save you from ever having to cut glass again.

He obviously never got permits or he'd have mentioned what codes he is required to meet. I'm more curious to find out if the land owner he rented from knew he was constructing on the land, and if he broke any laws by cutting down and taking trees.

YOu never told us if the land is yours or not, or what the arrangement was. Also, Your crazy house looks cool as like an outdoor pergola, but I don't know how weather tight it will be. Seems strange that you have cement touching wood, touching the window frame metal.... Doesn't allow for expansion / contraction.
