Facial Fat Volume Loss and how to restore it NATURALLY | Promising new Study on Skin Aging & Rooibos

Welcome back :).
In todays video we are talking about Facial Fat Volume Loss and how to possibly restore it naturally, without the help of fillers or procedures.
Bev Sanderson, a good friend of mine and the founder of Maysama is sharing an incredibly fascinating and promising study with us, on how Rooibos has actually been shown to increase mitochondrial health and with that increase fat stem cells and reverse facial fat loss.

Great update! So sorry to hear about the fat loss from your other procedures. It takes courage to post all of this publicly, and receive critical comments. We do all these procedures, hoping to improve, and when they do the opposite, it can be very depressing. I’ve had problems with filler in my lips and it migrating causing lumpiness above and below the lips that cannot be resolved so I understand the disappointment when we have negative impacts. I hope these most recent treatments work out very well and continue to provide long-term benefits.Much love! You are beautiful inside & out!! ❤️❤️❤️

@@claudiaglows Very true Claudia, this was only an in vitro study. I wrote that the study intended to show the potential effects of ingested rooibos because the article you linked was published in the Journal of Functional Foods whose focus is on food science, nutrition and health. Much more research needs to be done to see if any of these effects can be obtained through ingestion or via topical application. There are so many steps that occur through digestion and absorption through the skin that it cannot be assumed things will work the same. Forgive me if I did not hear you explain this important fact to your viewers. Accurate information is so important when people are trying to decide what to spend their hard-earned money on. Very interesting to hear the science behind rooibos. I appreciated the presenter's clear disclosure that this is not trial stage but does describes rooibos properties. Loosely tying scientific research to potential results is what beauty industry marketing is all about, and I am right there alongside other consumers in my willingness to try products, esp those with rooibos and other green tea. Garden of Wisdom (from AZ, USA) has used rooibos and green tea in their natural serums and cleansers for more than two decades. I stumbled on their products 2 decades ago in my search to control skin issues (which have successfully resolved). I still use rooibos and green tea products for maintenance and all kinds of "anti-aging" purposes now.

@@claudiaglows Hi Claudia - I am looking forward to the led light study as I always use green tea toner before my red light therapy sessions Regarding garden of Wisdom products ... I have tried the majority of their inventory over the years and what I continue to use is - antibacterial cleanser - holy grail product for 20 years, though I now use it only in the shower not as part of my makeup removal - jen's green tea cleanser - eternal youth serum - which isn't as spendy as it initially appears when you consider how many different products you would have to buy to get so many antioxidants - custom re-make serum of "pimple punisher" - truly a miracle product which brings baby pimples to a head very quickly (I struggled with rosacea) - tiniest amount needed - I buy 100% oat beta glucans from them because they have 8 oz size which is impossible to source from any beauty retailer and I am deeply committed to using for barrier repair. I also use iunik but GoW is better price per ounce - aloe fillet juice in 16 oz size (yes!) for re-wetting my aloe vera gel during micro current sessions - sometimes I only use this juice for micro current as it's less messy I stopped using their hyaluronic serums because HA is in everything now, but if I went back to them my faves were red and green rooibos and green tea HA serums and their "plain" no additive hyaluronic serums (many choices).

Thank you Claudia and Bev for the invaluable information. Being a Type 1 diabetic and “suffering” from facial fat loss Rioobos seems very appealing in both the sugar control and increasing healthy fat volume. My only concern with using it for diabetes is that it seems to function just like insulin, where it “grabs” excess sugar from the blood stream and deposits it in fat cells (which are the only ones that have availability to store the excess), but it’s not stored as “sugar” it’s stored as fat, you cannot specify which fat cells of the body to store the excess and in consequence fat cells grow = you get bigger. Sorry I went off topic. I would like to see what Bev and her team will offer specifically for facial fat loss without impacting other areas of the body. Thanks for the video 💕

This added estrogen that is also needed for bone loss ( osteoporosis). Made my face a little fuller, gave me a softer look. Later added plain gelatin, this keeps your skin thicker, face fuller. Now using mitoredlight , the infrared since you Claudia and Bev shared the science behind it. I was afraid to use infrared, that it could hurt the little fat that I have. The serum is based on hope and signs that the rooibos extracted chemical works in vitro on human like fat cells. It’s so funny that as long as she says it with a smile and wearing her gorgeously made up skin most people hear the hope and not the facts. It’s fine but it is a judgement glitch.

As an additional note: Recent studies showed that facial lasers can lead to the increase of Granzyme B which is associated with fat loss and premature aging. This is why the skin looks good for a while but often times it backfires (months/ years after treatment). Doctors often only see the immediate results that’s why it’s underreported.

Since I recently lost a lot of weight, I have a lot of loose skin that wrinkles In certain spots of my body. I’m wondering if those shriveled areas can use some plumping up? But for sure I do not care to gain all the weight back. I do remember hearing that the reason why older people are often cold is because they have lost fat in their skin. So even if they were on the chubby side they will still feel cold. So maybe this Rooibos can help with skin throughout the body if taken internally as a tea.

And you bring up an interesting point about older people feeling cold... In the study we are talking about in this video, the rooibos was applied topically to fat cells. But that is not to say that drinking rooibos won't have great health benefits. And a bonus is that it tastes delicious. Wishing you a wonderful day xx

About the fat loss, i think I saw / read that some treatments cause more fatloss like sculptra treatments (treatments like radiofrequency or ultrasound) depending on how it’s done : you need to adapt in function of the part of the face. I’m thus prudent and won’t do it for the moment. I read stuff also about PRP that I find more appealing but I’m at the beginning of my “analysis”. About the cleanser, I don’t know. Maybe it’s a lovely texture and composition but you rince it directly thus I prefer investing in a product that stays on the skin like a serum or cream.

Sculptra and radiesse especially are approved for treatment of fat loss in patients under HIV treatments that cause fat loss. PRP injections are among the safest injections you can have, the face is still rich in blood vessels so it's not a risk free area for any type of filler. Please seek a good realiable professional and I would advice to stay away from energy devices including micro current.

Hopefully a valuable tip for those not aware... a calorie surplus would help significantly when trying to restore fat and collagen. It would increase fat deposition and protein synthesis(collagen synthesis). Calorie deficit = fat loss and decreased protein synthesis which is obviously proven. @@betzib8021 You are a sweetheart Betzi, and I am really happy you are here! Thank you for your very kind words. You know, someone told me the other day I looked like a concentration camp survivor, I guess we all have different preferences ... But seriously, I do love my cheekbones, but the little flab around the mouth caused by loss of fat and of course collagen I could go without. ;) Fingers crossed rooibos is not just good for us as far as helping with oxidative damage, but will actually make it to those adipose cells and help produce more fat stem cells Wishing you a wonderful weekend xx

@@claudiaglows you don't need to respond...but I have noticed that as the people have grown fatter...they have rearranged their concept of what is beauty to suit their warped perceptions of how they themselves look. You look like a model...far from concentration camp victims. Those people who say things like that have such fragile egos they must constantly search for hyperbole to take sown those who have remained beautiful when they have let themselves go.. You threaten them.
