I happen to know a band that would compliment this guy perfect and all they need is a singer. They are called Alice in Chains

Absolutely not. This is just a cover band and I'm sure the members of AIC are not interested in having a Layne copycat in the band. That would be such a stupid move and like an insult to Layne if you think about it...and just because a singer has a similar voice to Layne's that doesn't mean he can fit in the band as a person. This guy here is also too young for AIC...let him stay in AIC cover or tribute bands only.

AIC already has a good singer. They wouldn't want someone who sounds like the last singer. And, they didn't want someone who tried to emulate Layne. They want to have a new sound, and create something new. The new guy is a lyricist and guitarist in his own right. This guy is a good singer but his natural voice is actually quite different from Staley.

That would be awesome, but I know the singer Brendan personally and he even told me once that he would never do it.

I saw this group in my town at a little bar a few months ago. It was there last show together as a cover band. I was bored with nothing to do so I took a risk and decided, why not see an Alice In Chains cover band. The ticket was super cheap. They started playing, everyone there looked at each other with wide eyes. This lead singer gave me goosebumps. I couldn’t believe how amazingly close he sounds to Layne Staley. And this video does not even compare to how good this guy is in person!!! Wish this cover band was still together😏

I've been a listener of chains since my early days. Just a opinion but I enjoy hearing bands do there best rendition of in my opinion the greatest band ever.

Singer hit the nail in the head with Laynes voice and stage presence!! But why this drummer was rushing it Laid it back my man..

Fuck No! William DuVall is the real deal and the only lead vocalist fit for AIC after Layne. Not even close.

This kid is freaking me out. ..holy 💩 I've been a fan since like 91 so I'm very attuned to Layne awesome exactly like Layne comes out of him n gives me a freaky feeling

i dont support the idea, but i'd like jerry to contact him to arrange a few appearances in their tours, and sing a few songs from the Layne era. Thats all i ask for.

Hes singing until the chorus and then its really Layne Stakey singinh the choris. Why cant anyone else hear this. He sounds good but hes using the real lyrics from Layne in certain parts of the song. Damn. I wanna hear this kid sing live without the band just do interview and sing right there and see what he sounds like? The band is terrible

From 6years ago...he looks really bored at this point.
