I've had a mechanical heart valve since 1993 and have been in congestive heart failure for 12 years. I totally understand what you are going through. The nomadic life is epic and I have no regrets about pursuing this life!

How long do the valves usually last for? I love that yours is holding up. Can you get another one if that one messes up? Prayers for your health to improve.

Same here I had a heart attack in december at 38. Heart problems run in my family unfortunately,

I love his attitude, he’s a survivor for sure. Glad he found a way to deal with his situation and make things work and that he’s OK with it.

❤ great story and I can relate, having almost died at 19 and now, having lived to 74 with one leg, and in a wheelchair for the last 5 years, but with a Sprinter, I travel for a few days at a time right now, due to my dogs. But damn life has been wonderful to me and I hope it continues to be great for you.

Very encouraging to me as an "older" woman in my 80th year here in Earth School ! Making the best of my remaining time here too ! Blessings to you Bearded man ! 🎉

I love how people find Chromes videos by accident. I was watching bulldog videos and came across Disco and started watching him and his sidekick Chrome. I cried my eyes out when Disco died it was truly like losing a friend and I haven't stopped watching. It's awesome seeing people living their best lives no matter how tough life is, hope your channel does well Andrew, going over to give you a sub now.

He might be short on time, but what time he's got he's enjoying it!

Wow Andrew. With all that life has thrown at you I admire your strength and courage. You mentioned to depression and I have dealt with it for over 30 years. I have no family. It's just me and my two cats who mean the world to me. I'm facing a difficult financial decision as well and it's quite likely I may end up in a van myself. I have a minivan but I just don't think it would be enough space for my two cats, and their happiness and comfort is much more important to me than my own. I'm hoping we can figure it out. I wish you all the best in your journeys and life. You're a great soul and we need more people like you. It's amazing that you want to help people and I know that you already. A rough journey we're traveling through life😢.

I have two metal knees and a pacemaker. I want to live Vanlife because then I can say the world is only as small as you let it be. Wherever I can plug in my mobile monitor in my Vancamper is wherever I can live. Thank you, Andrew, for showing people this is truly possible! 🎉❤

chrome inspired me to buy a van, and i plan on building it out for the next year to live in it full time.

My goodness, what a lovely man. His accent is adorable. I have subscribed and I hope he is able to achieve all his goals, he certainly has the attitude and grit to make it happen.

I suffer with heart failure (left ventricular failure to be correct lol) after having 2 heart attacks and I've also recently recovered from a TIA (mini stroke) which is why I'm researching van conversions. Hopefully next year I'll be able to convert one and travel so I can tick off my bucket list items. It's surprising how something like this changes your perspective on life.

Wow his pants brought back some memories lol, I haven’t seen them in almost 10yrs! I’m from MD and used to work for a wireless telecom company (Tower16) and those pants were part of the uniform all the guys had to wear because the owner was a huge diehard Ravens fan lol… I hated wearing those pants so much bc I grew up a Miami fan lol… I wonder if there’s any connection there as I see he’s got PA tags and we had office in PA too…. crazy to see someone wearing this pants on your channel way out in VanCity !!

My story the last few years is pretty much the same as his had a massive heart attack in 2019 was also told that i had lung cancer i kinda pecked away at my bus that i had got shortly before i got sick finally i am actually doing some work on my bus i hope i can get enough work done to live in it in the next few month's You are going forward and thats all that counts

Yep I survived heart failure I too retire 40yrs of the medical world. Van traveling with a Ford transit connect IS AMAZING.. I encourage more to unplug and really get out and see the world. I love your van simply put and I can see chrome touches.

When it comes to my fault, having a new van, I’ll have to take it to one of the van conversion places. I WILL be taking my ball to the place that is been on Ancaster, Ontario. ( Near Hamilton, Ontario)
