did you remove the film on the dot skates? mine do not feel slow at all

hmm, I wouldn't put that outside of the realm of possibilities. Was the film clear on the dots? If so then I definitely did not take them off but in my experience the films have always been like blue/black colour, not the same white as the dots under the film. It does seem a little odd to me that the included skates would have a black film and the ones on the mouse were clear but if that is the case I will add a pinned comment about that mistake, so please let me know!

@@sdog_ yes, it was clear I didn't even notice it at first until I started using the mouse and was confused with why the skates felt so terrible haha

Hi! I currently don't have the mouse in possession. I went through the RMA process and have sent it back to WLMOUSE and was informed that they will be sending me a new unit. If yours is especially bad, it might not hurt to get into contact with them as well. My reason for RMA was the middle click as I mentioned in the video, so I'm not sure if the side flex would be included in the warranty process, but I don't really see why it wouldn't.

I don't have a GPX 2, only the first one. The GPX in general though is an extremely safe mouse, it well any grip style, handsize, and is just all around a good mouse. The beastx is definitely a bit more of a gamble I think because the cheese grater style is something that a lot of people are indifferent about. I personally really like it but I know that a lot of people don't. If you have like a Best Buy or some other electronic store, you might be able to go and try out the shape of the GPX (it might only be a G Pro Wireless, but the shape is identical). Another thing to consider is polling rate. The GPX is limited 2k HZ where beastx is up to 8k. It really depends on what you are looking for.

@@sdog_ the gpx 2 has 4khz already and I like it in shape and in all parameters, but the only thing is that it is heavier than the wlmouse. in my city, gpx2 costs $100 and wlmouse costs $150. is it worth overpaying for weight, a difficult question

@@Maz1kpeekmy wl mouse came in at 40 grams and my gpx is 55. I did some weight reduction mods (removing powerplay magnets and cutting out the circular part of the base. I don't have my beastx currently since it got send back for RMA so I can't really compare the two, but holding my ulx small and the gpx, while there is a difference I honestly don't notice a lot while I'm playing. My personal opinion is that once you are around the 50 to sub 50 gram range the improvements will be marginal at best. I've been hitting higher PB's in kovaaks using my OP1 8k over the past two weeks then I do with my ULX small so lighter doesn't necessarily always mean better. I can safely recommend both mice to you but there is a chance with the beastx you won't like the huge cutouts. As a sidenote if you end up getting the beastx and end up hating it, wlmouse offers a 7 day refund policy, and my experience with support has been amazing overall. I don't want to come across as shilling but you can definitely tell that they care about their customers, which I think is cool and something that could be lacking from a bigger company like logitech.

@@Maz1kpeek You're battery will drain a lot faster and if you don't have a good computer it kills your performance. I can't really use 8k because it's so CPU intensive. I typically run 2k, or 4k only.
