I am now a huge fan of Karate Combat, the pit idea was awesome, small gloves make it like kickboxing on steroids. But I have never had anybody explain the no kicking to the thighs rule.

Its was for à higher entertainement and level of karate but its dumb its à base in the kyokushin

It’s for fighter longevity. Lots of tendons to snap in the thigh.

Yeah. I think México's altitude played a big role in it. Shame because yanchuk is the only proper kudo guy and he's really good at it
