Fabric Book of Tea Cups - Part 5 -

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I’m working on a fabric book filled with tea cups!
In this video, I’ll stitch the 5th tea cup in the series. A cozy cup of chamomile tea with some shimmering sugar cubes on the side.
I love stitching fabric pictures. This is my favourite way to spend my free time.

Yaaaay! It's Tea Time!! I adore this design. I especially love the tablecloth design and stitching - so pretty and intricate. Your stitching around the cup and saucer is so well done that it looks machine-stitched! Such a beautiful summer design. I love everything about this design. And nail polish on the sugar cubes??? BRILLIANT! And, you know I'm loving the steam! 😄💗

Thank you so much 😊 I wanted to give the sugar some sparkle. I was inspired by the chamomile I’ve been picking and drying. I think I have enough now for one cup of tea 😆

@@cookingjennfer Ha, ha. I did that with Mint once; however, mint grows so fast you could easily have a bucket full in one week! Lemon balm too. So in love with the sugar cube idea.

Delightful! The music, the stitching, that tablecloth! And a trip to your garden to see the chamomile blooming. 😊Lovely company for me as I tried to find my craft room under all the materials from my cupcake frenzy!!!🤣

So cute! I am going to make a tea book someday, but so many other projects to do too. Roxy’s new volume is going to take a lot of thought and time.

Love it! From concept to execution its on the money… as a novice, I especially appreciate the close up & slowed down details as they’re being worked…your music choices are FAB… I love most all kinds of music, but when trying to learn by watching/replicating, some folks choices are too boisterous & distracting - makes it hard to concentrate. Kudos to you all around… keep up the excellent tutorials! 😘🧡🙏🏻

I think you nailed the chamomile flower perfectly! I was wondering how you were going to get that raised center done. Very creative! as I have been watching, I keep an eye on your wraps on the needle - - can you tell that it still bugs me that I could not do a simple French knot? I think the flower centers were the first time I saw you make that knot .... it is just so interesting how wrapping one way and then another way creates such detail centers. Very nice! Fingernail polish - - nice touch!

Thank you! That’s a colonial knot. And I am sure you can do both! Just keep practicing. 😊
