400 years before the events of the first Fable, Albion was a magical and mysterious land, inhabited by fantasy creatures. Its inhabitants lived in isolated villages and settlements, so they rarely ventured outside their limits for fear of being devoured.
In this time of legend and mysticism, there was a city called Brightlodge, where heroes from all over the kingdom gathered. However, after Lady Rosewood's attack and the death of King Wendleglass, her son will inherit the throne and must face a new threat.
Yog, a witch belonging to the old kingdom, who is putting into motion her plans to regain her ancient power and take over Albion. Therefore, if the heroes fail to stop her in time, this era of heroism may end before it begins.
