Interesting and valuable lecture! Thanks for sharing! Waltz--Leg swing, then body swing at the same time at the bottom of the swing(speed up), control and slow down the speed for feet closure. Foxtrot--More control on the 2nd center to stay behind for avoiding attacking the lady's upper space.

6:00, The second center(sturnum) is used more in the stop(line) figures for there's not much movement in the first center(hip).
10:00 Waltz, Body and leg speed are the same for drive and control/sway. Foxtrot, More control of the upper center to stay behind to avoid attacking to lady’s space.
